A few months ago, I wrote that I was going on a vacation in the place I had lived in during a previous life.
I went there because I was eager to know more about that family I was part of and what had happened there concerning me, because it still has its effect.
I learned a lot. I had an appointment with the keeper of the family archive. What a weird encounter. Although I think he didn't trust me at full, I felt some familiarity. Afterwards, when I looked again into some photos of family history, I came to the conclusion he must have been my grandfather back then. We must have known each other long time but we were different, him being very practical. He wasn't gay at that time but some photo details were pointing in that way. So maybe he felt he was, but in that time, 19th century, couldn't reveal that?!
Most of my relatives reincarnated with me into an other country though. I think one of his daughters back then is now my little niece. Her father and mother, that is my cousin and his wife, must have been his grandfather and grandmother. Still following?
There must be some reason while his soul stayed there. He definitely didn't gave me the feeling he believed in reincarnation so I didn't talk about that.
Then I saw the houses my family lived in. It did not feel familiar to me, I didn't have a recollection. I just made a reconstruction based on written family history and what is left behind. For me it was like going into a past I couldn't remember. But very useful and a nice side-purpose for a vacation!
