My session with the regressionist (weird)

Seline

I went to take a regression by a professional in September last year. That was a weird experience lol.

In the session, first I noticed that I was stuck, like held down or something, especially by my arms. Something was strapped around my upper body. I couldn't move my arms away from the body. The regresionistist (not sure if this is the right word, but you probably know what I mean lol). asked me to look around, but I was too scared and not able to see anything. I did notice I was probably in a bed, could have been at a hospital, but not sure of this. Then I started to shake, first I didn't notice it myself, but she noticed and asked me to give in to that shakiness. But I had to stop, I was too afraid, but then tried to continue, I couldn't feel my legs. Not sure what it all meant.. Was I disabled in some way?
Then she asked my to go back in time, and I saw someone (myself?) by the ocean. I felt strong and masculine, and I could move around freely. I felt like a dolphin, too lol. Then I wasn't afraid anymore, I felt free. Then she asked me to look at a life where I could feel this free and powerful, and I saw myself sitting at an elephant, there were white buildings everywhere, and I had an attitude lol. I felt powerful, but a bit arrogant, think I was a very slender guy. Then something came either from the sky or some other place hitting the buildings, destroying them. It felt very high tech lol. Then my time was up.

She told me the shaking was good, it is what an antelope does in the desert after being chased by a lion. It's to remove the stress. So my regression went okay, but afterwards I felt I didn't really get so much out of it, what were the lives? But something did change that day. When I spoke to her before the actual regression started I told her I have a bit problems with guys, with me being too guarded etc. But that changed after that session.
What do you think? Was it all just fantasy, or I have no idea what I really experienced. I wish I saw more of the lives, but still it was worthwhile.

It seems to me that you have already experienced some positive results...which would indicate this was a beneficial event for you. You should also keep a close eye on your dreams and impressions...those things may very well begin to dovetail with some of the things you experienced while under hypnosis, and the blocks of understanding will start falling into place. Also, as your first time, things might not have been as clear and understandable as they may be in the future...experience certainly makes it easier.

With time I hope you get more of that lifes... regression can be scary, I know I was when I did some self experiences... too scary! But yours seems to be quite ok for a 1st time :)

RE: Your first regression, where you couldn't move, your description sounded to me like a shell-shocked WW1 vet. Shaking, afraid even to look around, unable to feel limbs that might actually still be there, having to be strapped down, you might want to check out some videos of these poor guys:

(What some of the doctors seem to be doing might look cruel, but remember that at the time, "shell-shock" was regarded as a sign of cowardice, and these doctors were trying to prove that it was a neurological condition so that they could get the armies to stop sending these guys to prison.)

As for the second part, whatever took out the buildings might have seemed high-tech at the time, but it's probably pretty archaic by now. Possibly the first time you ever saw the effects of a cannon?

Thanks for the replies everyone :)

Shiftkitty; thanks so much for telling me that!! I'm looking at some videos etc now. I don't know if that is what happened to me, but especially my head and right hand was shaking the most. My head was literally bumping up and down, so I do see some similarities. I couldn't feel my legs, cos she asked me to be aware of them, but I had a weird feeling I still had feet (maybe just because I was aware of my feet in this life lol). And something was strapped around my upper body, and I did feel a nurse or something near by, but this was blurry.

If this was the case of what happened, then I don't feel so stupid about that regression, and for not understanding more about what happened to me. But I need to find out more before I can start to suspect that this is what happened to me in another lifetime. But when I read about those vets, I see some weird connections to this life although I'm a girl an not very soldier like and tough lol

Glad to be of some help. "Shell Shock" had numerous different effects on the patient. Many, as you can see, shake uncontrollably and have tics of varying intensity. There's one who is visibly frightened by the presence of an officer's cap. I imagine if you look for more videos and maybe grab a book or two, you might find a plethora of effects as varied as anything.
