My son might have been my Dad

My son is 17 months old and my father died almost 6 years ago. I hadn't noticed anything that indicated that he might be a reincarnation of my father until recently. While we were eating dinner last night, he started eating using his thumb and middle finger and folded his index finger down, as if it was cut off at the knuckle. My father lost his index finger at the knuckle in an accident several years ago, and would eat the exact same way. My mom noticed this behavior a couple months ago, but wanted me to see it for myself. I'm interested to see what else my son might have in common with my dad, but I'm not sure how to go about "investigating" this. I'd love some advice from other folks out there...
 
HI and welcome to the forum. Have you read Carol's books? Especially Return From Heaven? It focuses on same family cases in America.


Keep a journal, write it all down and take notes. Ask questions but don't lead. There are certain signs to look for and you can find them as a sticky titled The four signs of Children's Past Life Memories. You might also enjoy reading through the archived thread of Same Family Cases

The habit you described is odd enough make you wonder. I hope you'll keep us posted on further development.


I also recommend Carol's books. In her first one, Children's Past Lives, she talks a lot about the signs of past lives and how to find out more without disturbing the child. You will also find a lot of info on the subject through reading threads in this section.

Hi dylansmommy, welcome to the forum.


I would also recommend Carol's books to someone in your situation. At 17 months old, there's still more than enough time for you to look out for other signs that your son may have been your Dad, and now that you have noticed one thing, you'll be more alert to any other little clues.


What does your Mum think of it? Is she a believer in reincarnation?
