New and need to discuss

Hi all,

I am very new to this forum business. However, I feel I need to connect with people who understand. I am a young female in my 20's who has always had a deeper feeling about life and past lives. I was born in Southern Africa and grew up in Australia from the age of 1 yr. I have always had a connection to war from a very very young age. My recollection would be at age of 4 and onwards having dreams about me being a young soldier in war that was in a jungle environment surrounded by Asian men and sometimes in the background I would hear the song Watchtower by Jimmy Hendrix. I would wake up and tell my parents recall names and locations. One day when I was 8 my dad was watching a documentary and I said to to him that's the sight where my helicopter crashed I recalled the place and the name before it was even mentioned. My Father turned around and said that he has been had dreams about that site as a little boy and feels like he has also been there. I have had alot of erie and knowing moments that I can not understand. I randomly ran into a psychic one day who asked if I knew who I was in my past lives and I said yes and she you were a Solider in many of your past lives. I have heaps of memories and feelings that link me to different periods.
I would like to understand it all more and not feel alone.

Have you ever tried to do some research using the names of the locations to see if you can get some validation ?

I think you have a lot of "material" to work with...

I wasn't so lucky since I always got small hints of my past lives but in your case , if I were in you, I would try to go deeper using every possible trace. I would avoid psychics , personally, since digging in the past lives it's really something that no one could do for you, but it's just my personal opinion !

Welcome to the group. :) It sounds like you and your father were both killed in the Viet Nam War. This would have been between 1961-1975. Countries that were involved were the U.S., South Viet Nam, North Viet Nam, Australia, Cambodia, Laos. Have you known your father in other past lives? That would not be unusual. Start keeping a journal and write everything down.

It's very important that you write everything down you can remember and get your father to write down what he can remember you saying also. These can be invaluable for validating your pl and confirming who you were.

Hi Rochella, welcome to the forum!

You're certainly not alone. There are many members here who've felt that same connection to war and had past life experiences show up in childhood, myself included. It isn't always the easiest thing to deal with but certainly can be managed, especially with a little help and support.

If you'd like to do some investigating or delve into your past lives, there are certainly ways to do that and a lot of folks around here have done so with success. I think finding out what you said when you were a kid is a great start, if your folks remember too see if you can get that from them. I agree with the above posts, write everything down that you remember and keep up with the things that come up. It's really cool that you've got leads to other eras too, as you mentioned. I'm excited to read what you end up with if you decide to share :)

Good luck!

"All Along the Watchtower" was written and recorded by Bob Dyan in 1967. Jimi Hendrix covered it in 1968, and the Hendrix version is the one most people remember.

Hi rochellajay

Welcome to the forum!

You will find lots of people here to talk to about anything you like reincarnation related.

Sure sounds like Viet Nam, doesn't it? Could it be that your father was also in Viet Nam? Was he born late enough?

Is this the kind of helicopter you remember? Viet Nam was the first real helicopter war. Do you remember how or why your helicopter crashed? If you remember that song by Jimi Hendrix that would narrow the date to 1968-75. If you were surrounded by Asians you could have been in the South Vietnam Army. Or Vietnamese with American advisers assisting your unit. Or an American assisting South Vietnamese. If your helicopter was shot down you may have been captured by North Vietnamese troops. If you were North Vietnamese or Viet Cong you would not have been listening to Jimi Hendrix. Technically the Americans were sent to help the South Vietnamese fight the invading North Vietnamese. Very similar to the Korean War. The Americans left Viet Nam about 1973 and turned everything over to the South Viet Nam Army.
