I can't believe my last post was in 2007. How time flies.

I've been silently lurking here, trying to see what's been going on since my last visit and I can't believe that a lot of my old posts are still here. Reading through them was like opening an old photo album and reliving the memories...some funny, some sad but each one very much a part of me.

I know that my last life prior to this one now, had been in Scotland and it was a very short, but happy life. I am now settled here in Scotland and very, very happy. I know in my heart that my soul had chosen to return to this beautiful place to live out the life that was cut short in another lifetime.

Anyway, I guess I'm rambling too much. :o

I guess I'll see you all around...soon. ;)

I am so happy for you that you found your way back to Scotland. Must be a very comfortable feeling...to be home.

Yes, I really feel as if I've come home. For the first time in my life, I don't feel so lost and empty inside. The only thing that would complete me now would be if the higher powers above would reunite me with my playmate from my prior life in Glasgow.

During my hiatus, I visited a couple of other past life forums but I can honestly say that this one is by far the best online. I'm very, very glad to be back.

I'm new here but actually have read here for ages, so in a way I feel I know some of you. Reading is what I enjoy most and so I find myself lurking more than posting at different places.


As far as I know I have not had any memories of a past life, but I do experience constant flashing visions of people, places, and objects in my mind's eye at any given hour of the day. Some seem to be of a past time, as if it were something I'd seen before yet nothing that I believe I'd seen in this life. Hope I make sense. It's all very fascinating to me.

Hi Leesea, welcome to the forum :)


It sounds like you could possibly be getting some flashes of a past life. This is more common than you think, and it's something to build on if you want to find out more about your past lives.


Try starting a journal, and write down everything you see and feel when you have those flashbacks, then maybe look into meditation or self regression perhaps? We're all here to help and/or support you with that.


Other than that, just enjoy the forum, and jump in with the discussions wherever or whenever you feel like it, you don't have to have past life memories to participate.

Hello Leesea, glad you found us. I'm always curious when people first got the idea of reincarnation. We're all drawn to it for a reason... what got your interest?

Thanks for the welcome, Chris and Tinkerman. Your idea about writing what I see and feel sounds like a good plan, Chris. I'll definitely give it a try. Hopefully I can remember some of them as they are so fleeting, and sometimes one after another with no choherent theme to relate to and I think I have oldtimer's. So. . .


It's been ages and probably most of my life that I've been interested in reincarnation, Tinkerman. I think as a kid I would meet people and feel like I had always known them, and then so many of those Deja Vu experiences seemed to have some basis for having been here before. And I've always been drawn to reading as much as I could. I remember reading a book called "The Search for the Girl with the Blue Eyes," and thought it was very plausible that it was an account of true memories. Also I was interested in the cases reported by Dr. Ian Stevenson and of course Bridey Murphy stuff from way back when. I wanted that to be true.


And how about you. How did you begin to think about the possibility of reincarnation?

Well as I recall the first encounter with the idea was a movie called The Reincarnation of Peter Proud. Its an oldie! But when I saw the movie and "got" the premise it just seemed to make such perfect sense! At that time I was a deeply spiritual Roman Catholic and in the first stages of seminary. So imagine the conversation inside my head!: angel Well flash forward twenty years or more and I began having the strangest dreams and synchronous... dejavu like activities. It was very very noticable and caught me off guard. Reincarnation was not at all in the picture, I left it behind in my younger idealistic years. I was very career oriented and quite dedicated to my profession. To make a long story short (You can read the full meal deal here), I grasped at a faint idea, read the book Many Lives, Many Masters, came to this forum.... and have been here ever since.


My belief in reincarnation has done nothing but deepen since I committed myself to understanding it. I've made my own personal study by reading everything possible. I've spoken to many wise people AND I've sought deep spiritual counsel. This is a very personal journey, for everyone. And only in the deep recesses of our souls will we truly find the answers... and I honestly think I have.


So there you go... in a nut shell. I'm glad you're here and I hope we have many more informative replies!! :)

Thanks, Deborah. I have read some of the threads about meditation. I have tried it in my own way but get very distracted. It is a good idea for many reasons to keep at it though.


And I read the book and saw that movie about Peter Proud, Tinkerman. Almost forgot about it. Very good. I did go to read up on your story which I know I've read before while lurking here for ages. So interesting to see how we change our views.
