Hi all,
I've come here so that I can divulge in my most recent past life memory experiences. I'm completely new to them, and I've never felt so sure about them... it freaks me out.
Let me start somewhere first... yes, when I was about 15 I went to the Alamo with my mother to, well, see it. I ended up remembering everything from my Texas history class, etc, and after I left that day and went back to Austin to my cousins' home I felt this crazy CRAZY pull -- I HAD to read about the Battle of the Alamo, the Texas Revolution, everything. I ended up watching the 1960 John Wayne Alamo movie that night (kinda lame, but it still satisfied me) -- and then he caught my attention. William Barret Travis. He's been my ...hero, as I call him, since then. He means a lot to me. I even have a tattoo of his signature in his handwriting on my shoulder.
Anyway, I'm deeply introspective as a person and tend to get into occult stuff (tarot, astrology, etc) and for years I had been trying to figure out what this connection was to him -- because unlike most things I get obsessed over or overly and excessively crazy about, they usually phase out and go away. He has not left my thoughts... and this "connection" I always felt to him seemed psychic or spiritual or both. I could feel it and still do, within me.
A little bit ago a friend of mine who does dowsing decided to "dowse" my past life, and she told me that I was his daughter, Susan Isabella Travis, in my past life.
I was amused. I didn't believe her at the time. I would laugh about it with other friends, and so on.
But the last couple of days I decided to feed my curiosity by doing a reading of a synastry chart with him in astrology, and there were SO many things pointing to a caring/nurturing/time transcending/parental/paternal relationship with me. I kept LOOKING for a romantic link but there was none -- only that. The "coincidences" kept piling up, and it was freaking me out a little.
Then... I suddenly felt great loss.
I know what I know historically, and that was that he left his pregnant wife and son and went to Texas. Later on, about 4 years later, his ex-wife would come with both kids to Texas and leave only their son with him.
My quest to know this man in my present incarnation was to understand who my father was, I believe. Last night after my revelations I started having small vignettes pop up in my head, where I saw boots -- his boots, his legs, and maybe a blurred look upwards at his face. The last time I/Susan would have seen him would have been at the mere age of 4 yrs old, because he would die only a year after that (he died at the age of 26).
I have always wondered, too, if he was a sort of protector of me or ...looked over me.
When I was 12 (in this incarnation) I was fooling around with automatic writing and asked simply the name of my guide/guardian and I got 'William.' This was 3-4 years before I ever really got into the whole Texas Revolution/Travis thing.
The feelings are getting stronger, it feels more and more real as time goes on. I'm hoping to do a little more soul-searching inwardly to find more vignettes, possibly.
