Non physical, light sphere, past life memories?

I am looking for information if anyone has experience or knowledge of past life memories of a non physical form, to include a blue-white light spherical form? I am new to this and in the past I have purposefully repressed such things via religion and religious thought and philosophy. However, I can no longer repress them.... I've always had past life knowledge and spiritual experiences that I have tried to put in a religious box.... They just don't fit.... And there is just too much to deny it any longer... If anyone has heard of such a thing or is you know of someone that has, please reply.
 
Don't know about past lives in this respect - but I have frequently read references to people who are in between lives (ie "dead" according to us) having a sort of light sphere type of "body" when they come visiting those of us still on Planet Earth (ie rather than a recognisable human body).


As far as I can work out from my reading, it would appear that its the norm for us to adopt light sphere type "bodies" once we die and just "project" a normal human-type body recognisable to those of us still on Planet Earth that would recognise us if we were to come "visiting" them after we have died.

Welcome to the forum, oldsoul.Do you see the lights awake or asleep, eyes open or closed? I have read the same info about the appearance of disembodied souls as Ceridwen.
 
I have had both, awake and asleep, eyes open and closed. Mostly open eyed when I was a child. I can relate with only a few specific time periods in human history but always feel like I am just biding my time here and that I don't really belong. Every since I was a child, I have felt a yearning for a reunion with a blue/white spherical spirit-body entities. While I have felt that I can connect with spirit at any time, they still seem so far away and when I do connect, it is hard for me to regroup and get back into the routines of my current daily life.
 
That's very interesting. You are the first member that I remember who had such a connection to orbs, or spirit bodies. Perhaps you are a soul who has rarely chosen to come into a body? I have read that such souls exist. What do you think?

I completely disagree with this.


The thing is that OBE's are commonly a part or "phase" of many, many NDE's, only doctors who study NDE's are not even aware of the nature and mechanism of the OBE's, and they are wrongly called NDE's or they get mixed up. Odlsoul's description don't include the typical phases of NDE's as Dr. Raymond Moody enumerates in his studies.


Oldsoulsearchin: your experience is so fascinating. It was clearly an OBE, a really good one because you were very lucid, I can see why you never forgot it. For me it sounds more like you could access the "higher planes of consciousness" or whatever you want to call it, it could be the spiritual world Newton describes in his books, the place where we all return in the life between lives. This is not too common among astral travellers, not with that level of awareness, but for some reason you had this ability when you were a teenager, and yes, it sounds you had a hard time adapting to your new physical life. But who knows the reason for this...
 
I bow to greater understanding, Eowyn. :) The experience echoed many examples from Raymond Moody's work. Not everyone has your expertise.

I have begun reading "Many Lives, Many Masters". Thank you for the tip and reply.


I will post more in depth as I can find the time. Right now, I am keyed in on trying to connect with information or individuals that may relate to the sense of home and/or normalcy in a memory of a spherical body or who have had interactions with such.

I'm glad you are reading the book, oldsoul. It is eye-opening for many people who previously had no belief in reincarnation. I have encountered orbs, as have two of my daughters. We presumed they were disembodied souls, but didn't interact with them directly. We were awake, and observing. I think Eowyn's reference to the work of Michael Newton might be something you would want to investigate. His books have case studies involving soul groups in the period between incarnations that fit your description.
 
I wrote this a few years ago. Perhaps this is something like what you remember?

My memories of Bardo are of a very white place. There are rooms, of sorts, but if you wanted to you could travel endlessly in any direction without hitting a wall. The walls, by the way, seem to be curved. It is hard to describe, as it is a "place" that is not a real place, but rather a state of mind.
The people you meet there are sort-of shadowy outlines of people. The actual essence of the person is oval shaped, but from the center of every individual a bright light shines. You recognize a person by the vibe or glow they give, and when you communicate with them, you direct your thoughts to that light, to their center, rather than to where a face would be in a physical body.

oldsoulsearchin... i've had a memory of a future event as a child leaving earth in a cold ship and feeling very lonely and sad.


do you feel any connection there?


also.. as a child i used to feel it was normal for our future selves to imprint ideas on our current life ?

the other connection i made was your ability to see orbs and lights. i've not embodied myself as an orb but i have seen them and noticed they have a personality to them. i've witnessed two irregular shaped semi transparent orangish orbs playing in my parents backyard late night/early morning.


sometimes i see blue sparks.


i wonder though because i've noticed the orbs tend to have different shapes and sizes. i've seen an extremely large blue orb, larger then a suv move very slowly into the woods through the trees. this happened at night.


i think there was a collective personality in this... ship of sorts ??


your orb might be more closely related to the orange ones i've witnessed. they were smaller in size and had a different personality to it.

this calling you feel- being here for an important and specific reason, something that will impact our universe and its history- could be a soul calling. perhaps your true self yearns to understand something from a more spiritual perspective. have you considered meditation in your life ? and what are your thoughts on that ?

Blueheart: yes, that is exactly how I remember and can relate to your description in the second paragraph of form and communication.


Cloudpotato: it is not necessarily an event of apocalypse or cataclysm ..... It is also not so much that I have a key role to play or "destiny" as much as a sense that I either chose or it was determined that I was chosen to be here for a global event that would change our understanding of the spiritual and physical world... I feel like that is what I am waiting for and then I would get more understanding of my personal role, if any, that I need to play.
 
I find the things you are posting about to be very insightful and spiritually exciting, oldsoul. I feel many forum members are on earth for similar reasons. I'm not sure those of us who are older will be present to witness the "event", but we are part of the scouting party. I know no other way to express it. I think the world is on the cusp of a great change, and it will be a positive one.

We have had centuries of institutionalized fear of an "apocalyptic future" indoctrination, which I believe keeps humans from reaching our true potential for positive change. Whatever 'the event' is, I believe that the end result is a positive one.

i'm quite fond of the kardashev scale, which very interestingly describes different levels of civilization based off their level of technological advancement.

also, i like your perspective... that you chose to be here... or are priviledged to be here for a great transition. the latter of your statement seems more karmic in nature.


if we look back at our history, i'd say these moments do exist and perhaps you will be alive in this life to witness one of those history making moments, if you haven't experienced anything of the like already.


i'm a bit tired but i wanted to ask if you mediate and how that is going for you ? i've tried but have found i lack the discipline or motivation to get back into it.

Cloud potato: my apologies. I did not intend to communicate or infer that I believed that you had apocalyptic negative beliefs... It is something that others tend to automatically assume of me and my intention was to comment about that and clarify my frame of reference.

The blue-white form sounds interesting, but for me the 'colorings' were as blue-greenish hues with numerous small different colors (no solids, somewhat similar to how auras are popularly described), and the 'external' environment was mostly greens. If all things are different, then it should be expected that all things are different, including one's own colors.


I too am waiting for something, and I am unsure of what it might be. Of all the events that I sensed would occur in my life, all have occurred except the final one that should arrive near the end of my life. If the event does happen, I hope that I am here to see it so that it will satisfy my curiosity. ;)
 
I have woken up before to see light spheres of different colors: light blue, green, and black, hovering above me. They usually travel through the wall once they see I am awake. I guess they are people I knew visiting me while I am dreaming.
 
I remember before incarnating, I was very small and very big at the same time, floating around between stars and galaxies, going any place by just thinking about it. It was very pleasant to "swim" in the universe like this, and I had no desire to do anything else. I also remember a "counsel meeting" with some wise, old men who told me about my next life, lessons, etc. I found it a weird fantasy, until I read some renowned books on life between lives, and found the description of the "counsel" as something very common for people who remember life in between.


I also have the memory of falling from a huge tower, something like an accelerating free fall, and I would often dream about it as a child. This was probably the experience of coming into the body.

Are you talking about Newton? He's been discussed here. Helen Wambach also mentioned the same thing in her books.
 
Yeah, could have been the author's name, I don't remember right now. He had a lot of case studies of life between lives.
