I thought I would sidetrack this to another thread - since it sort off topic from the other one. This reminds quote reminds me of Dannion Brinkley's testimony after his NDE. This sort of brought up a 'bone of contention' with me related to my childhood experiences with so many 'near-death's' and trying to come to grips with the 'two' opposing 'realities.' (One physical and the other spiritual.)usetawuz;228655 said:This has been my feeling as well. Not all souls desire to experience a physical existence, and fewer still want to deal with the amazing range of densities and vibrations available on this blue orb, but for those of us who do incarnate, the opportunity to do it on this earth is hugely desired.
In my many NDE's - there was a 'phase' or 'stage' during the process when my 'spirit' was about to be 'embodied' back into the flesh. I would have 'two lawyer' like 'spirits' there - sort of like. I had to consent to the 'process' of 'getting back' into the body. The problem was - I would be back into the 'frame of mind' of a young child. It got to the point that when these 'two lawyer' like spirits got to that 'consent form' thing - my spirit would take off running. I recall a time when my spirit was hiding out in the Arctic playing with polar bears - refusing to get back into a body full of hot pain. (Hence, the reason I was trying to cool myself off before being 'forced' to say yes.) The problem always was - my 'mental mind' was reduced back down to a child again. All the 'knowledge' and 'intelligence' of the 'spirit' I was in the light - was being tucked away and hidden in the 'unconscious' mind again - and without that 'insight' - my choice (with only human understanding) was "NO!" Of course, the 'spirit's' would get me to 'open' up the 'hidden knowledge' and the consent would be given in a way that was related to my spirits consent prior to being born. The process of having so many NDE's was similar to the process that takes place when the 'spirit' incarnates into the physical body at birth, so - I was constantly bringing that 'hidden memory' to the surface and trying to examine it again to try and understand the 'gulf' between 'knowing' and 'not knowing.' My parents and Grandparents would 'freak' out when I told them of conversations that took place at my bed side when I was only a week old. (They always thought someone had put me up to it because they didn't believe a baby retained such memories.) As a baby - I had no idea what was being said at a week old - but at the age of nine - when I replayed the 'scene' in my mind - I could comprehend what was being said.
I had a 'hidden process' of spiritual intellect processing the scenes around me (at a week old) and I could tap into it and 'translate' it into some sort of 'description' at a later time. My spirit wasn't 'thinking' in English - like my human mind did later - but there was a 'thinking type process' registering' my spirit and soul's reaction to waking up inside a human body. At the age of nine, when I was trying to express this memory to family - I told them my reaction was 'Oh my God, here we go again....ahhhhhh." I told them it was like getting on a roller coaster ride and the 'car' jolting forward and having 'second thoughts' about your decision to get on something you knew was going to be a 'wild ride' you wouldn't have control over - and could only react to. I (or my soul) was not going to have control of the 'twists' and 'turns' laid out like a 'track' before me.
As a teenager, when people asked me when I first had memories of past lives - my reply would be, 'the first week I was born.' It was like I had 'sight' of an enormous iceberg during that time - and it was slowly emerged under water so all I had access to in later times was the 'very, very small' pinpoint of a tip. (Even that, slowly disappeared from my conscious sight as an adult.)
I recently read something by an author who stated, "We come here to feel." Evaluating all my experiences and accumulating them to one sentence - I think this captures everything in a nutshell. To perceive through a limited 'five-fold' perceptory range which evokes 'emotions' that can not be 'touched' upon - on the other side. The memories I have of looking back on life here (during my NDE's) is my own extraordinary reaction to the amount of 'emotions' collect here - that can NOT be achieved in any other state of existence throughout eternity.
In my late teens and after I spoke of my 1978 NDE, people would ask me, "Why are we here?" My stock answer throughout many years - and another NDE in 1988 was,
"For the thrill of it. Nothing more and nothing less."
Sincerely,
