Hello! I just had my 2nd regression, and much like the first, I can't stop thinking about what I saw. It's only been two days since, and the images just stick in my mind. I did this after the first, and eventually the obsessing faded, so I'm sure this time, the same will occur.
During my first regression I saw myself as a WWII drafted soldier. After seeing this, my fears of planes crashing, atomic war, and randomly dying seemed to fade. I have not dreamed of a plane crash since, which was a common occurrence for me.
I also saw my life as a woman in the 1800s. I did not get a complete view of the situation the first time, but I needed to. I went back to this life during the second regression and saw that my present day father who I have had a very rocky relationship with my entire life, had actually kidnapped me and held me in a dungeon through my childhood. He had a family, whom eventually left him, and then I was made his new wife. At some point, he had forced me to bear his child. I believed he had raped me from time to time, which is hard to fathom, knowing he is now my father, but that's what I felt during the regression. Eventually a man whom I believe to be my present day husband helped me murder this man, and took myself and my daughter away to a city and we began a new life. I then had a son, whom I adored more than anything in the world. I believe he is now my present day son. My husband was always busy working at his family's business, and my son kept me company and was very important to my survival. My daughter had married, but my son never left home. At about 19 years of age, he came down with tuberculosis, and died. I fell into the deepest depression and pushed everyone away. I eventually ended up causing my own death. In the first regression I thought I caught tuberculosis on purpose, but I now think I drank myself to death. All alone. I did this, because I felt, since I killed the man who is now my present day father, my son died. It was all my fault. My present day father is not too much different from the man who held me captive. He was very abusive to me growing up, and I have always felt intense guilt with him, even though he was a terrible father. I now have no contact with him, and at times I've felt remorseful about this. I now know, until he changes, I can not see him.
Anyway, I also saw a quick visualization of myself in a green velvet dress, empire style. I had long wavy brown hair, and what appeared to be a crown on my head. I sat at a mirror and just brushed my hair. That's all I saw. I have always pictured a room in what may have been a castle with high ceilings. Also, a long hallway with big windows. Ever since the regression, and even before, I've been obsessing over middle age period art. I just like to google, and research the art, and the time period. I especially love The Arnolfini Portrait by Jan Van Eyck. I could look at it for hours. It is an amazing portrait. Anyway, is it normal to fall in love with time periods after having a regression? Should I allow myself to research these time periods? I know it will fade, but there's just something that strikes me right now about the middle ages. I know it's important to be here, now... has anyone else felt this way? I love past lives in general, I feel as if this is a hobby of mine, just as my husband likes baseball, I like past lives. Anyone else?
