Yea, I think he/I was a good guy but just fell in love with the right person at the wrong time. I wonder if I have met this woman in this life already... if not I wouldn't object to meet her ;) .
 
Congratulations on the succesful regression, VanH! :thumbsup: I think it was important and great that you saw the Light. ;)

Keep us posted when you learn more about this life.

What do you think about the woman VanH? Who does she feel like? Does she remind you of someone you know now? Perhaps and perhaps not.

Several times I have had a memory of some incident and then sometimes a year or two, sometimes more sometimes less, that person has popped into my real life - usually quite by chance (although of course 'chance' is one of those complex things :) ). Sometimes I will recognise them by the eyes, sometimes they have some feature similar to their previous self (unusually long black hair for instance on one occasion) sometimes it is just a 'feeling' I get.

This could be a good theme to start your next meditation on - trying to recall when you first met, what she was like, how the affair progressed. You could start in the water again (Brrr!) then try to jump back to before that.

Good luck. Very excited for you. Was the chap in the water the same Michael in the brown suit in the street - or is that a different life? Does it seem like a similar historical era eg the 1930s - for instance? Just curious.

I didn't exactly "see" her in my meditation, I just knew I was there to be with her, I didn't see her husband (I did get the impression that he was a very robust man though) All I actually saw was the two men push me off.

I do believe that both times it was Michael.

I did get the impression in the first regression that it was set in the 1800's, no other time table than that.:D

I had an urge to search Michael Mahoney in the 1800's and I found this website...www.seacoastnh.com/brewster/36.html it turns out that this Michael Mahoney stole a rope from a man, the man went to a fortune teller and the quote above appeared on a piece of paper. (apparently written in onion juice so it would appear later) I'm not sure if it was me, but it happened in the 1800's... hmm back to searching.

I really don't think it was me, but I thought it was humorous.

Michael Mahoney would be a reasonably common name though, but you never know...Your guy was certainly in with a rough crowd, so...perhaps? :)
In the mean time the Doctor made inquiry to ascertain who was the worst fellow in Kittery, and one Michael Mahoney was pointed out as a bad fellow.

If you have ever seen Titanic with Leonardo DiCaprio, then you have seen the outfit I think resembles the one Michael (I) wore. I tried to find a pic of those clothes from the movie but... alas nothing but bits and pieces. If my memory serves correct then the trousers and white shirt look a lot like the ones I wore in that life... just thought I'd add this detail.

I really don't think he was, I think it was more of a love story than bad guy. The rich husband didn't like me for some reason : angel... and had his buddies threw me off. The buddies did it because they had not one brain in their ugly mugs! :laugh:

and... I think that she didn't want to be with him anymore but the mere spoken word or thought of divorce in his "Castle" under "His Law" or even in their times meant shunning or worse.

and... my own thoughts now... What they should have done was run off together using aliases... rambling off into space...

Found another, the pants are different but thats definitely close (1850's-1860's is what the tag said). Also does anybody know if there were common ships that traveled regularly through the pacific ocean leaving from California in the latter half of the 1800's? Any help would be grateful! Thanks.

I'm not sure if this will help, but in the early 1800's there were merchant ships that would leave from Cali and Oregon, and they would actually aquire their crew by tricking them into underground opium bars, drugging them up, and dragging their unconcious bodies onto the ships. Once the ships were out to sea the new 'crew' members would wake up to find they couldn't get off the ship until they'd served their term. They usually 'recruited' young, single men who seemed to have little to live for. The Travel Channel teaches me so many random history facts.:thumbsup:
 
Ah, I'd completely forgotten about that! In one of my research-frenzies I came across that. What fascinated me was that the term 'to be shanghaied' stems from this - because the ships would go to Shanghai :)

Yea, I just found out that I might have gotten the last name wrong! Mahoney is also a last name of an actor that I had seen in a show about the time that I came up with the last name. I bet my subconscious just pulled it from there... oops. :o I'll meditate on it soon, maybe find out my actual last name. It also could just be a coincidence.

It does not have to be one or the other. It could be the name of an actor you saw in a show and your name then. It is a common enough combination of names to put together - both very common Irish Catholic names. If it was a very odd combination - like Stanislav Smith - I would be a bit more suspicious.


It depends if it resonates with you. Only you know how that name makes you feel. Besides, the name is a rather unimportant detail in my opinion, although it is kind of interesting and everything. The events and their associated lessons, the relationships and the 'karma' produced are what matters. They also tend to be easier to recall (for the reason that they have a lot more importance to the soul).
 
A couple days ago I remembered something from my childhood that I completely forgot. When I was little (about to start school or like in the first few grades or something) I was obsessed with the idea of horse drawn carriages. I remember thinking, "Why can't we just use horse drawn carriages instead of cars, then there wouldn't be car-crashes." I'm only guessing here, but I think it has to do with this life since I had the memory of Michael in the carriage. I even remember seeing a carriage in my mind when I was little, it was black and really cool. *It would certainly save on gas! Unless, like me, you are an animal activist so you feel bad for the horses.* : angel :D


No updates on any of my memories, although I can't wait to go on and get my degree in Hypnotherapy/Reiki in the next couple years!

Thanks for sharing that VanH, I like those little "oh yeah" moments when you remember something from your childhood and you can suddenly link it to a past-life memory.

Van Halen, Could you by any chance have been a passenger on the Titanic? If you remember the movie Titanic, the lifeboats were only for the wealthy and the poor were left to drown. This is what this reminds me of right down to the romance with a wealthy mans wife.

Yeah I thought of that at first too, but this took place off of California (several miles out I believe) :D And I was the only one drowning, mainly because I snuck aboard to be with my lover who was married :o and her husband didn't like the fact that she was cheating... so he had two men throw me off.... But what she and I had was true love, and what he had with her was control and she hated him. They might have been in love in the early stages of their marriage, but the money probably corrupted him if he had actually been a human being at the start but then again I will never know... (Yeah I know I'm rambling... its a bad habit and my friends tell me it ALL the time :D )


I've always been a romantic (spurring from this life I believe), and when I was little I always thought that the sweetest thing was two poor people who had love (which is what I had with my lover). I didn't have a cent to my name, and she still loved me. :D


Chris, you'd be happy to know that I'm listening to UK music right now! Its called The Enemy and they are really good! I know I'm off topic, I'll just stop rambling now... xD
