Hello, I have been keeping dream journals for a several years now. In the past 2 years I have had connecting dreams. I have been doing a lot of relaxation and personal journaling, and these dreams seem to have coincided with my, shall we call it "soul searching".
As a child I was phobic about men, inseperable from my mother, easy pickings for bullies. Over the years I have overcome these fears, but still remember the nervousness and fears of childhood.
In one of my dreams I had a towns name or camp name, I will now tell you the dream.
I was a teenage girl, I dont know what country, but it was in WW2. Nazis came to the village. I was so scared, they rounded us up and took us to a place begining with S...something like Scapro or Scava. The women and children were seperated from the men, it was terrible. One of the women could sing like a nightingale, and when we were on our beds the first night, she made the nightingale call, it made us smile as the Nazis didnt know where the bird call was coming from, but it was our way of comunnicating with the men to let them know that we were alright.
I can post the other dreams if anyone is interested, I cant find any camps called Scava or like names.
Its almost like a cleansing, its helping me work out so many connections to my childhood, or is it a movie that Ive seen in the past just coming back in a jumble.
Looking forward to hearing input from you all, I love this forum.
