Past life in a Foreign Country?

TDU

New Member
I am British born, August 1945 and now living in Australia.

For a good few years I have felt that I might have been a casualty in WW.II. My feelings on this is that I was a pilot in the German Luftwaffe flying Junkers 52 transport aircraft.

I feel that I might have died at Stalingrad, shot down whilst on take-off after unloading supplies for the German Army during the siege.

Why do I feel this way?

(1) It would be my love for German Military music. It is something that I have always admired.

(2) As a schoolboy in the UK from age 12 to 15, I use to draw/sketch pictures of WWII German aircraft so much that my art teacher queried my fascination.

(3) Every time I play the old German National anthem, including the current one on YouTube, I get a real strange feeling in my inner soul.

(4) I'm a great admirer of the Junkers 52 three engine aircraft.

This is my first time on this this forum and also those of a similar nature.

Any thoughts and possibly ideas?

Welcome to the forum and thank you for sharing your experience TDU, that is an interesting post. It has taken you a long time to wait before sharing that, any reason for that?
Did you have any memories prior to those teenage years that you recall?

I was not familiar with the 'Iron Annie", it looks like a more modern Ford tri-motor.

Hi TDU, welcome.

Your interests might be a good indication to a PL in WWII. Do you have any actual memories of this possible PL? Dreams? Why do you think you died in Stalingrad? You seem to be pretty sure of some details (Stalingrad, the Junkers 52 transport aircraft... I think you have more to tell us? If you want to share? Do you remember your death? I would like to hear more!

Greetings,

Eevee

Many thanks for the welcome KenJ.

Yes, it has been a long time to wait and I think the reason would be, is that I would be accused if being a member of the German Nazi Party. If I was, I have no knowledge of it, though it would have probably brought opprobrium upon me from a great height! So I have kept my own counsel.

As for the Junkers 52, I believe that there are eight surviving aircraft that are still airworthy.

Time for more in depth thought.

Best regards

Keith

I sometimes onset too.. I'm new here hoping to find answers myself...

As a child I had a reoccurring dream of running with men in U.S. Army uniforms ... as I'm running I get shot in my left lung... I die... it's not my face but it's me... I'm a man... I'm a woman now ... but I have a scare on my left side like a gun shot ... the dreams stopped after the age of 12 but my love for the military and shooting is always there... weird... wish I knew more!
