Past-life "pictures"

"Whispered shout" discribes the tone of the voice perfectly, early this year I was attending a lot self development and meditation classes and one morning in half sleeping half waking state I heard a voice say "well done" I was instantly awake!!

I have in the past heard my name being called.
 
ive had 3 such pictures myself, but they came 1.right as i was slipping into a state of meditation and 2 came right as i was returning from that state, and each one was clearer than the last.

the first just seemed like i was in a dark hall carrying a candle to light my way, kind of like i was in a cstle

the next was just a trail comming out of a wood, into a field, or maybe a grounds, it seemed like i was on a horse drawn carriage or somehting

and the third, though far more fleeting was much more vivid than the other two, it was what looked like the back side of a girl age about 12? kneeling at an alter, with a long white vail that covered her back.

i guess that though these pictures are kind of random, they are related, possibly pointing towards a mideval life in a castle?

well it is very interesting that all of us see just these pictures, thank you for your post.
 
and about that voice thing...for a few months last winter almost once every 5 or 6 days i would be in my waking life, just doing whatever and i would hear that exact "whispered shout" discribed earlier saying my name, it was really bizzar, then as i was meditating once i heard that same voice right next to me, but i dont remember what it said, this was when i was working with an apatite (a dark blue stone, not the feeling of hunger) which is said to aid in contacting spirits. i always thought i was just going mad, but now that i look back, that was pretty real...
 
As I was reading these posts I was thinking I'd never had an experience like that, but then I remembered I had. Sorry this is a tad embarrassing but necessary for the story...I have to urinate more often during the night than most people, and if I don't after a few hours, I get pretty toxic. So I had been noticing that I'd wake up out of a sound sleep before it got too bad, but I didn't know why. Then one night I woke up with a start, hearing my own name called very loudly! Apparently, someone on the other side had been nice enough to wake me up if I was in too deep a sleep. But after I "caught" them, they stopped doing it, at least for awhile, or so it seemed.

I had a strange experience with images years ago which I didn't think of when I initially read the entries on this topic because it wasn't actually my experience.

For a period of approximately a week before I fell asleep I would see a series of faces as soon as I closed my eyes, it scared me the pictures were so vivid.

My twin sister lived about 200 kilometres from me at the time, but the next time I saw her the experience was still fresh in my mind and I told her about it. The same thing had happened to her only the duration had been longer, we worked out at the time (and I won't go into details) that the experience had originated with her.

The voice that I hear from time to time sounds like mother or grandmother (who died when I was 8) and as you state, it sounds like a shout, but below the threshhold of hearing.
 
Before this thread, I had never heard of such "visions," except as reported by my mother. We spoke about it this evening, and she never knew that it had happend to anyone else. As the details of these reports vary, it should be noted that her experiences were identical to those of "Jennster," but without any accompanying sound.

It has happened several times, always in the state between sleeping and waking. She reports that she was not asleep, but rather was aware of being in bed at home, and that she was able to tell my father about it as the faces were being seen. They were unfamiliar but vivid.

Although my mother has no past-life memories, she already wondered if these faces were related to a past life. Although none of the faces seemed recognisable, some were noticably from times beofore my mother's birth.

I've had many mental images. I think they relate to my past lifes, at least some of them: a clairvoyant has told me about my incarnations and they match with those images. Sometimes they are film-like. For example, I've seen myself examining a map - when I was a sea captain, hands moving.


Latest I've seen was a picture of a South-American boy. Then my thoughts started to run. "I was supposed to become something great, but then something went wrong..." Then I saw a temple. Maybe I misused power or something. :confused:

How do you receive your mental images? Do they come to you in your dreams? or do you meditate perhaps?

Sunniva: I don't believe I was Walter Sickert, but he is a very fascinating character. Can't say if he was Jack the Ripper. Maybe I lived in London in those years...


ChrisR: I meditate regularly, but images usually don't come during meditation, rather when meditation is finished and when I'm lying in my bed waiting for a sleep(I meditate before I go to sleep).

EDIT: I would like to add that I've seen images of drawings. Professional work. It's quite impossible to track them down. One choice is go to regression therapy and get the name of the artist(me..? In PL?). Do you guys know if it's possible to know names while regressed?


I'm going to talk with another clairvoyant within few weeks. It would be great if he was able to tell names too.

Yes, it's possible to get names in a regression, but I sometimes get them also while meditating, in a dream or in that state between sleeping and being awake. I trust best the names that "just come". If I really try to get a name, it's easier to assume I'm just making it up, if you know what I mean.


There are good psychics/clairvoyants out there, but I still suggest to be wary with them. Always make sure the information feels right to you personally, before you accept it. Also other types of validations are recommended.
