I get a physical image of myself, sometimes a name, and always a sense of place and time. I have a sense of the person's feelings, and circumstance in life. I wouldn't call what happens to me a flash-back - it's not complete enough.
Mine have always been like BriarRose's, and usually include an emotional aspect. Initially I see views of my being, then shift between views from that being's eyes and from outside that being at an overall view.
