Recurring dream

Below is a pic of what I seem in my dreams. I am walking along a stone corridor and on the walls are these metal rings. I have since found out that they are horse ties. I have had this dream many times. I remember the damp on the walls and these big metal rings. That's all. Would love some opinions and if anyone else has had a similar experience.

Unfortunately I don't know much about these horse ties or the locations you might find them, but the fact that you have this dream often could mean it is past life related.

I've never had any recurring dreams myself, but I find that some elements do repeat themself. For example, I often had dreams of the Red Square in Moskau, Russia. Sometimes I'd be at a ceremony, other times I was a tourist, and once I was there for Lenin's funeral. Later I realised I had travelled there often in two different lifetimes. I think, if you keep seeing this stone corridor, it must hold some significance to your past life, because why else would you remember it so well? Could you have been a stable hand, or just passed through the corridor often, or did something important take place here?

Perhaps you could try writing down as many details as you can, then try to do some research on possible locations or time periods. A good start, if you remember the appearance of the corridor, would be to look into architectural styles throughout history (e.g. the Tudor arch is quite striking, or maybe it was something more gothic-looking). The quality of construction would also be quite telling - a castle or church corridor would be better built than a commoner's house or village inn for instance. I saw your other thread where you mentioned feeling a strong connection with the Tudor period. Perhaps this dream has something to do with that era.

What happened in the dream? What were you doing? Do you remember what you were wearing, or if there were any other people? What sort of building is the stone corridor in, was it in a basement or castle or small house? What was the lighting like? Any windows? Were the walls damp because it was raining and the water came in, or because it was cold and there was condensation?

Just some questions for you to think about, that might help with identifying the location or time. Something I like to do is to write all my thoughts on a text document alongside a picture that triggers memories. That way, I can see all my research in one place.

Most of my dreams normal stuff and honestly kind of boring-since they are almost always stuff I do IRL already (such as sitting at home, in school, riding car, etc). But I have something worth mentioning. I have had several dreams that all happened in a same location. It was a small house on top of a grassy hill, and whenever I saw it I kept thinking it was from the 1950s. I haven't seen that house in the past few years but now that I think about it I wonder if it was my house from a past life.

Thanks so much for your very informative post. The weird thing is, that the dream is almost a short clip of me walking down this passage and horse ties are on the right. The stones are all different sizes but very strong and a pale creamy/yellow colour. The damp is not all over but there are signs of moss. There is a slight dripping sound. That is all. Don't know what I am wearing and there are no other people. There is no lighting but it is not very dark. There is definitely a roof type covering although I haven't seen it. I just know it is not open. I would say it is more a castle type building rather than a house. Far too big and solid to be a house.

Yes these are rings to tie horses. The advice is good, write what you see, your feelings when you saw the scene. That's what I do even if I don't understand everything at the moment. You can have the answer later.

Hi Brandy,

The ceiling is interesting when you said it was not an open ceiling I started to think you might have been in a dungeon instead of a horse stable. They would have those on the walls to tie the prisoners up to. Do you feel that you were a worker or a resident there? When you were walking were you carrying anything heavy on or with you or were your clothes light? Did priests also visit dungeons to give last rights.
