I have been looking into the Bridey Murphy Case lately and I had already had it down as 'debunked' before hand. It turns the woman who recalled living the life as this 19th Century Irish Woman, Virginia Tighe at the age of two had a woman opposite the road who apparently used to babysit for her. And her name was Bridey Murphy Corkell so sceptics immediately put this down to repressed childhood memories.
There are still things however, Virginia could not have ever known. Here is a list of them from an old newspaper article:

Scroll down to the bit which says 'Here are facts reporters found in Ireland about Bridey Murphy'. It's still for me not plausible to give a feasible explanation as to how she knew some specific names and areas. It could me that most of the memories were mere confabulations and these got mixed in with actual real genuine memories of a past life although 'Bridey Murphy' may never have existed.
