Regressing my friend

Obie

Member
I regressed a friend of mine who I used to date. He is one of my soulmates.

He said he got an image of being a little boy in New Orleans during the wild west time period. There was a fire in the French Quarter and he was alone and there was nobody around. he heard some piano music coming from somewhere. The houses were all made up of wood.

We googled a New Orleans fire. Bizarrly enough thats when I was in New Orleans in my PL (1790's) but I was an adult

That was probably not the only fire in New Orleans. Fires were extremely common until even just a few decades ago. Wooden construction and fire fighting equipment was very rudimentary. That's why people with money had brick houses. Worst case would be the house would be gutted but at least the walls would still be standing. Unless you lived in earthquake country. And yes, you may have been in the same life. It happens. Maybe that's why you are such good friends now.

I think I have your PLs confused, Obie. Was the saloon girl/actress life during the Civil War -1861 to 1865, or shortly after. When I read your post about that life, it mentioned "Carpetbaggers", but maybe that was all of us inferring the era from your post. In any case, your friend who is a soul mate has probably been with you during several lifetimes, and maybe in the New Orleans era. There must have been a lot of big fires there. It's interesting that he was connected to the same place.

BriarRose you are correct. I got some dates of the Civil War mixed up. His life occured about 100 years prior to my life in the Civil War. But it was in the same city.
