Should I call a PL Regressionist?

And convince my mom to let me see him? I think I could convince her if I explained to her the facts that people heal their psychological & physical pain from remembering their past lives. I just feel nervous about what might come up...

Depends on how much she believes in reincarnation I guess. I would maybe suggest it but let her do things at her own time. If she feels forced to go she might not remember anything.

Sorry, I misunderstood.

Then the answer is yes, you should go if you feel like it. It's better to do it than to always wonder.

I called him and scheduled an appt. for Wednesday night! I'm excited but nervous that I won't remember anything or something traumatic will come up.

Sarellah I think this is an excellent idea. If one of my children had approached me with this I would have certainly listened. There is a lot of good "science" behind regression therapy and healing. I think the obvious example of this is Dr. Brian Weiss, MD. He is a noted psychiatrist who has studied and demonstrated the value of regression therapy. Let your mom read one of his books on the topic... I think the book that got him the most recognition on this topic was Many Lives, Many Masters. It certainly made a good case for what you are talking about.

Don't worry about what comes up... tell yourself you are strong and you can deal with whatever it is. In my regression I witnessed some terrible things, but they made me stronger in so many ways. A good therapist will know how to help you through it.

Good luck with your mom, I hope she finds interest.
