Should I do a PLR?

I never thought I would be asking this question here, having always thought I would jump at the chance to have a past life regression, but now I'm not so sure, so wondered what others' opinions would be.

I have recently met someone who works as a past life regressionist, amongst other things, and we got to chatting, and he said all his clients come in with curiosity to know - have they lived before? He had never met anyone who has had memories spontaneously, and is eager to regress me.

To be honest, when I first discovered what he does, I was champing at the bit to have a session with him - ignoring the cost!!, but now I'm not so sure....

If I am having memories spontaneously, presumably it is for a reason - perhaps it is the right time to remember those things, or there is a lesson I can apply to my current time. Also, recently I have really got into dowsing, and have picked up so much information it is mind boggling. And then, there are the memories I have that I am not convinced are my own past life memories at all.

So, what I am worried about is - given that I have these names and facts and figures swirling in my head from my dreams and my visions and my dowsing,

Might I just regurgitate it all back out if undergoing a regression, and thus believe it is true when in fact it isn't?

Might I in fact ignore all this information, and only remember what is in and belongs to my own subconsciousness, so the regression would indeed be a true regression?

Is it in fact sensible to use regression, particularly given the first question, as a tool for me to verify the dreams and the information I have already been given?

Supposing I receive information that counters what I have already experienced, then where did that stuff come from? What else could it mean?

Has anyone else been in this situation? I hope you see my dilemma... and I hope that someone could advise me - what is the best thing to do?!

If it were me I would just go for it. You'll never know unless you do. If you don't you'll always be asking yourself, "What if...?"
