Oh! Now that resonates with me to some extent, though I think it may not just be the size of the aura around the body, but ... a sensitivity to internal alignment and identity as well?Eevee said:Is there a connection between aura's and people's 'personal space'?
I think everyone knows the feeling (isn't it?) that sometimes you feel at ease, lets say, sitting next to someone, and with other people (that claim a larger personal space) it feels uncomfortable. Some with hugs, some people like to be hugged, with some people if you want to hug them, you litterally feel you intruded their personal space.

What I mean is, some tolerate no approach at all ... their aura will demonstrate internal resistance and exclusivity to any who approach them, no matter the intention. So the "feel" of their aura reflects their perspective of others as somehow dangerous. Those who are sensitive to the feedback their own aura gives them can pick up on it when they approach and change how they interact.
Others are welcoming even though they can easily sense people as they approach, but throw up a "pushback" if they see the person is somehow a threat.
It seems there is a combination of aura enclosure, sensitivity/empathy, presence/chakra alignment, and attitude toward others based on culture and experience.
For example, I can recognize people who are over-stressed, abused, and desperate for encouragement even when they seem cheerful and outgoing. It's usually clear who is secure in their existence (especially those who are magnetic in a giving sort of way) and who is out to consume others ... needy clinging-vines, attention hogs, or power hungry. I would say this comes under sensitivity. Though how close someone needs to come before it can be sensed might indicate aura size? If someone with a massive presence enters a room, even those who usually can only sense those right next to them will feel it. Alternatively, someone who is strongly sensitive may notice someone with a very small presence from a distance.
I don't trust these feelings exclusively because I also have ingrained emotional reactions (attitude toward others based on experience), but that sense is becoming more reliable as I heal. This does inform how I interact with people, though. The same sort of hug will feel invasive or welcome depending on the person who offers.
I assume all this information can be found in the aura, though it is instinctive/emotional and not even remotely visual for me.
