Strange coincidence?

Hi everyone! I am new to this forum but have been lurking for a while. Something has recently come to light and I would like some opinions please :-)

My grandfather (on my fathers side) who has passed was adopted at birth after my great grandmother unfortunately died in childbirth. He was brought up, knowing he was adopted, but the family never really spoke about it. This past week, I have been researching my family tree and it has come to light that my grandfathers sir-name was Harris. It was difficult to find out as everyone thought his sir name was something different and i just searched by chance on something my gran recently said in passing (she has dementia so I initially thought she was getting mixed up). Well, you'll never guess what my 20 month old son is called?! Harrison. He is not very verbal yet, but you can bet I will be listening out! I just find this an amazing coincidence! I had a psychic reading a year or so before he was born and was told that there was a boy spirit waiting to be born to us, and that we would recognize him somehow when he was born. I would love to think it was him, not growing up knowing with his mother (although I know he was treated very well) and getting the chance to experience a different life. Opinions anyone?

Thanks for reading :-)

Hello DebzOr and welcome to the forum. I think this is a nice synchronous thing for you. Keep your eyes open for more. Could he be your grandfather? Sure. But, it is important to use caution in your search. Be careful not to project your thoughts and impressions of your grandfather onto him... it would be easy to do. Your son will be Harrison, his own self... if that makes sense. If he is your grandfather's soul too... how wonderful. It happens! I know beyond a doubt that I am/was my great-grandfather. I think these family connections are more prevalent than we know. I would only throw in that it is important to connect with Harrison as your son. And with awe sit back and watch him grow into the man he is destined to be. I'm betting you will see many, many more synchronous things out of him.

Welcome!!

Yes, it could be him. Start keeping a journal and write things down. Words, mannerisms, etc. When he starts talking he may know things about the family. How did you choose his name? Did "something" tell you that would or should be his name? That happens too. Carol has written a book about same family reincarnation called "Return From Heaven".

Thanks for the welcomes! Absolutely would never treat him any differently. Just think it is an awesome coincidence, and to be sure I will be listening out!

Another weird thing happended today, not really related to my 1st post... My son has always been scared of planes, which is a bit out of character as he is quite boisterous and not really bothered by anything else. We were out in the garden as a plane flew overhead, and, as usual, he ran over to be picked up. I said "it's just a plane, why you scared of the plane?" and he said "man on the plane." So i asked- "nice man or naughty?", he said "naughty". He's only 20 months (verbally very advanced), so i'm not sure if he understood my question. Haha, probably just a coincidence too and I might have said something in the past about a man on the plane, but I can't think! Again I will be listening out.

It was the only name we had and the only one we could agree on! We actually call him Sonny, but Harrison is his proper name :D It's funny because fiances and my other grandfather passed when I was pregnant with my son, so he has each of their names as a middle name. My dad went in a bit of a huff that my other papa (who we recently found was Harris) wasn't given a mention LOL. Well looks like he had the last laugh anyway :)

Is he afraid of jet planes also or just propeller planes? The sounds are completely different. He may have been in WWII. This reaction to planes was more common in the 50's with so many "baby boomers" being reincarnated right after the War.
