strange experience on a train

I was on a train with my daughter Becky who was 31/2 at the time. It was a journey we have taken often. We were looking out the window and saw a cemetery. My daughter suddenly said that's where they put dead people. (she had never seen a cemetary before). She then said "when I was a little girl before a man killed me" I asked her when and she said "a long time ago". She went on to talk about getting married in a church. It was very strange at the time and she has not talked about it since. She is now just 4 and said to me the other day that her other Grandad calls her Gingernut. Her father's father died a long time before I met him. My Father is greek and has probably never heard of a gingernut. She has mousy brown hair. I asked which Grandad and she said Grandad Hill (not anyone we have heard of). It is all very odd.

I am quite sceptical about a lot of reincarnation stories. (too many people seem to have been Cleopatra or other famous people) but this has really mad me think.

Welcome to the forum Christinew,

When a child speaks about a past life - with such certainty and with details such as names and circumstances, it really makes even the most skeptical of adults sit up and take notice. I hope you have taken the time to read through a few threads here..there are many parents here just like you who are having to take notice -

It is important to listen to what your child is saying - take notes..keep a journal.
Then research everything you can get your hands on. Start with Carol's book -Children's Past lives...then maybe the book Old Souls about Ian Stevenson's work. Last but not least -I highly recommend Carol's newest book -Return from Heaven. They both approach past lives in a very scientific way, and Carol has done a beautiful job lacing her books with ancient religious texts from various cultures. Stevenson approaches his work - scientifically !! Period!!!

Anyway, welcome and keep us posted.
