The Field Where I Died

The best X-files epsiode ever.

It's so hearbreaking I feel myself crying a little each time
I watch it.

Your thoughts on this

Do you know a field where you died?. If so would you go there if you could?. I am trying to find the exact field where I died and very much plan to go there, along with the war graves cemetery where I am buried... and the airfield I took off from in 1944. I think it would help you perhaps.

I don't remember the episode, but I don't think it would bother me or otherwise affect me if I were to go to geographical place where a past life had ended. My mindset is bent very forward and doesn't let the past weigh too much. However, if I did start getting weird feelings, memory flashes, or what have you, you can bet I'd pay attention to them.

I could go to a place where I died, and visit one of my graves, but I am still fearful of doing that. I have asked my husband not to bury me in the same cemetery where my last life's bones rest, but it would have a certain delicious irony, and signal to the universe that I understand, and accept, the nature of life. I guess I really don't, or I could go there!

I can be empathic with her character.

and singing.

Now that's an interesting thought! I wonder if that has ever happened?

I would guess that it may have happened many times, because of the tendency to reincarnate in familiar places, and in the same family line. As you know, Argonne, my family is buried near the spot where Vernon rests, so my husband might have had a tendency to bury me in that area. My sisters live in the town, where my "old self" is. Maybe, I should "go for it"?

It would illustrate the lack of importance the physical body has - it really is just a discarded "shell", like old clothes!
