Hello everybody,
My name is Kristel, I'm 18 years old and I live in Holland. I've always been interested in the mysteries of the Universe, and reincarnation is one of those mysteries I've been fased with the last year (both me and my mother think it's a case of reincarnation) so she bought me 'Return from Heaven' 2 days ago. I've already finished reading it. And I loved the book. The whole book to me is a confirmation of my thoughts about reincarnation. And all story's touched my heart.
Three years ago we got new neighbours. They had just had a baby and from the moment they moved in the house, I've been having this feeling that someone I'd known was very near me. When she was 18 months old I started babysitting her. And since then we started to become very close to eachother. And the feeling of knowing her grew stronger.
Whenever she sees me she comes running to me, starts hugging me and doesn't let go of me for the next 10 minutes. She practically lives in our house(!)
When she was about 2 1/2 years old she started telling me things that mostly started with when I was big and you where in... I never understood her because to me it was very chaotic, but to her it all seemed very clear. Now, after I've read the book, I realise that she was probably trying to tell me something about her(/our) previous life, but I've never realy listened.
She is 3 1/2 now, and she still comes running to me, but she never talkes to me about when she was older anymore, and now I'm afraid that I've missed a chance to learn about one of the greater mysteries of the universe, and a chance to find out if this feeling of recognition is true. And I feel a little guilty of not letting her tell her story.
This is not the end of the story though, Maaike has a little brother, one morning-two days before he was born- I woke up and said to my mother: Mam, the baby will be born Saturday and his name wil be Bas, and honestly it just popped out of my mouth, I couldn't believe I said that and... Guess what happend. I was right. whell, almost his name wasn't Bas but Cas. To him I also felt strongly related to, but he felt more related to my sister, Birgitte. Cas is completely in love with her. My neighbour joked that it was best that we'd addopt his children.
Since the moment he could stand, Cas has had an obsession for cleaning the house, he is crazy about the vacuumcleaner and the sweeping brush. I already advised my sister to read the book, but could anyone give me some advise in this particular situation, cause I don't want to loose my special bond with Maaike and I don't want my sister to miss a great oppertunity.
Loads of luv, Kristel
