Transience

Just read an interesting book about a child remembering a past life. It's called Transience. Had an interesting theory about the childhood latency period and how it relates to the merger of old and new souls.

It also had an interesting take on the synchronicity of birth and death.

Hi, Jennifer, and welcome to the forum. Was the book a novel, or non-fiction? It sounds interesting in any case. What was the author's name? I'll look for it on Kindle.

Hi BriarRose,

It was a novel. It was a mystery like CSI. It was very well written, I actually teared up at the end and I never do that, lol.

Thank you, Jennifer. I couldn't find it on Kindle. I'll try Amazon, and Barnes & Noble. Fiction can give a real overview of a subject, and provide a lot of understanding sometimes.

I found it. It's by Steven Mena. It's available on Kindle for $2.99. It's also available in paperback, but costs more. They had no used copies on Amazon. The subject matter is really pertinent to us, here on the forum. I read that there was a screenplay at one point, and a legal case relating to copyright violation. If you have Prime membership, you can borrow the for free.

Thanks for helping me locate Transcience. It is fiction written by Stevan Mena who does horror films. I saw that he filed a copyright suit against the short-lived FOX program, "Past Lives", which aired a few episodes and was dropped. I wouldn't necessarily recommend this book if you need information on past lives. But, if you're interested in fiction about past lives, it might be good.

It is a good novel, I think! Sorry for the previous message! My tablet did not recognize English language and translated it into some fantasy-German!

I thought you were being "punny". Maybe your phone was? I will buy this novel, and read it for enjoyment. I think Carol is correct though - people who want serious information need to look to non-fiction.
