What Happened Between 1915 and 1958?

My morning meditation yielded more detail about visiting the plane.
The enlisted man that showed me the hole was the gunner that was almost killed by the shell. He let me climb into his seat in the rear of the cockpit. ( I got goose bumps when I saw pictures of the inside of a Fairey Battle gunner’s station on the web.) There was a crucifix, a saint medallion and prayer beads hanging from the equipment. The gunner told me that that was why he was still alive. I held the crucifix and prayed for him, the safety of the bomber crews, a quick victory for Britain and France and the souls of the men lost on both sides.

I have learned more about my life as a priest:

These memories came to me this morning while I was cleaning my glasses. (When I was younger I felt that I should be wearing glasses even though my sight was perfect)

I am shaving with an old fashion safety razor. I am wearing a lose robe that is pulled away from my neck and face. I can see myself in the mirror. I am wearing round wire framed glasses, I have short medium brown hair and an almond shaped face with a somewhat pointed chine and brown eyes. I look like I am thirty or thirty five.

I am seated at the side of a wooden library table. The room is filled with book shelves and nice woodwork. A woman is seated at the end of the table. She is my sister and she has come to visit me. I am reading out loud to her in French from my latest manuscript. We can feel the room vibrate and hear explosions in the distance.
Our first reaction is to duck under the heavy table. But instead I reach up and grab my books and papers and take her to a tunnel like cellar.

I have memories of doing a lot of reading during this life. I was from a somewhat wealthy family and was highly educated. For some reason I now like expensive leather bound bibles. I have three that I don’t read.

If you combine my first name Patrick with my present last name, it means “Nobel Clergyman”. I believe my priest was named something like Father James Alburn.
