What is your past life's lessons?

Hi!

Any wise words to what you experience that you have learned from your past life/lives? It would be interesting to know...

Not sure what you're asking. The way I see it: you have life lessons you learn in each life. They are caused by karma you generated.

Hi baro-san, thanks for responding :) well what I thought off was when one is asked at the late part of a past life regression meditation tape (on you tube for example) what one has learned, this has happened to me. I say things that sound poetic in a way but then when I am out of this state I can't help but smile at myself for all the things that has been coming out of my mouth. Like in one I was joining the suffragettes and after that life was over I said things like "Freedom, we must all have freedom", "fight for equality", "free will", "no suppression", "be kind to each other", things like that. So I would like to know what other's had for mission in their past life, the outcome of it, or what one has learned from it.

The way you see it sounds very interesting about the karma I generated. Does that include also what close ones, soul mates has generated I wonder? In my case I can always see faults in others but rarely in myself ha ha ;) , and I think I have spotted someone in my soul group that has absolutely wonderful sides but also one clear defect, a stubborn one too.

Hi Jaimie

Lessons... hmm, that's an interesting question. I understand what you mean.

When I have that question in my head after finishing my self-hypnosis I always answer something honest or brief. I never say poetic phrases.

Lesson from my past life: "Empathy is good and necessary, but don't overdo it. If you continue to see yourself as a victim, in your next lives you will continue to see yourself as a loser. You are not a victim. You are a person, with defects, virtues, mistakes, like everyone else. Perfectionism did not help you in this life. Try to be aware that you can use your skills in other things for community service. But the decision is yours, you have free will."

That's what I'm saying. Sometimes it sounds like I'm saying it but it's really someone else who uses my voice to say it. It's hard to explain. I don't know if it's a figment of my imagination or something real. I don't have the absolute truth.

I see. Life lessons I learned about were, as in your case, one or two words, for example: humility, sacrifice, love, duty, family, letting go, acceptance, intellectual breakthrough, ... They are always specific, about me, not about others, or generalities.

Regarding karma ... Our thoughts, including emotions, generate thought-forms that follow us until they're neutralized / balanced by subsequent thoughts. That doesn't include thoughts induced by our actions into others. As an example: you do something bad to another person. Your thoughts create thought-forms that will generate in your life situations in which you have to deal with others doing to you what you've previously done (I hope I expressed it clearly enough). It isn't the suffering of those that you wronged, but your misguided thoughts that follow you, and will make you suffer.

Our individual life lessons have karmic origin, and are mostly corrections to our previous misguided thoughts and emotions (not as a punishment, but just as a universal law of balancing). Besides them, all humans are here to evolve into being able to function on higher realms. We incarnate here, now, because we can't stay only there, and not to learn those individual karmic lessons. All of us here can't yet function for long in an instantaneously though-responsive environment, as the higher realms are. That is due to our incomplete level of intellectual development, and also to our not mastering our emotions, especially fears.

1- If you don't want to change it, it'll stay the same. Only you can change things.
2- Everything you do has a reason, you just may find out later what it is.
3- You are not always where you want to be, but you are always where you need to be.
4- It doesn't matter what you are or what you were, it only matters what you choose now.
