What Kind of Memories Do You Have?

Lo and behold, another poll! I'm really living up to my username, aren't I LOL

So far I've recovered somewhat of a balanced mix for the past life I do remember. Some rather nasty, traumatic things, another memory or two which are quite pleasant and then some that are actually somewhat neutral. Just like life!


Interestingly the traumatic stuff is what came up first. The first two memories that showed up in the form of flashback weren't so pleasant, and again in regression two more memories of a not-so-kind nature. It wasn't until after those that anything less intense or enjoyable happened to present itself. Overall I feel like the traumatic events of that particular life affected me somewhat more than the rest and so perhaps there was a reason those things found my focus first. Just a theory.

I completely agree with that, Spatz. In one of my PLs (which sadly there are no records for despite being fairly recent) I regressed to a "troubling" memory first, then in my second regression I went to a happier time.


Obviously, it would be easier to remember a tragic event than a peaceful one because tragic events involve our emotions turned up to 110% and content moments are times of relaxed emotional states.

It was telling me I couldn't vote in the poll either until Spatz moved it.


My life has a lot of happy memories in-between WWI and WWII and those are the things I tend to remember the most, but I had a very traumatic death and the last couple of years weren't so great.

How about "non-emotional" memories?

No however my PL Husband picked up happy romantic memories as well as heartbreaking similarities.
