what to do

Hey all
Im a tad new here so please forgive me for any mistakes
Basically my problem is this: I have had for many years the weight on my shoulders from what I believe may be a past life, but all my attempts to try and resolve this have thus far been frustrated. The basics of this past life experience is a (semi) recent war (1960's) that I have several strong 'memories' about and alot of strong feelings about. I have written several pages and even drawn the images I remember as best i can, and my research into the war recently hit a few nerves when some of the information i had written down pretty much hit the mark. I am a very open minded person and have tried several times to see a regresionist but every time I try something seems to come up and get in the way of my appointments. I have only ever managed to see one regressionist many years ago, and I found out titbits of information and spoke to someone who said they were a good friend of mine and also my 'spirit guide'. Ever since I have been frustrated by remembering little bits but never being able to get enough to get an understanding or an answer to this issue, and my attempts to see a regressionist seem hopeless. I really dont know what to do as this past life question seems to constantly sit on my shoulders without my being able to resolve it. Is there any advice for someone in my position? thanks all.

Hi Seraphim! Welcome!

If you'd like, you can write about your memories on this forum. It sounds like you've already had some good validations through your research.

What kinds of questions do you have about your past life? What do you feel needs to be resolved? How is this affecting your life? I'm just curious. ;) Answer whatever you're comfortable with.

There are lots of regression CDs and audios available, as well as successful meditation techniques, that don't require going to a regressionist for. I'm literally walking out the door to work but I will try to find them for you later.

Good luck, and feel free to write about your memories and questions.

Hey

Thanks for the prompt reply. I'm not too sure where to begin really, but I'll give it a go.

Memories: Ive had a strong interest in a particular conflict of the 1960's for as long as I can remember, and I don't know why. I'm an avid fan of history as a general subject, mainly military history but this particular conflict sits way above the others, especially some particulars of it, in a way that sets it apart from my other interests. I dont recall seeing, reading or discovering anything in my youth that would lead me to this interest, its just always been there.

As for its effect, its stomach turning at times. It affects me strongly and i cannot explain this. My life and interests and me as a person would not be affected in this way by anything else - most issues in my life i have dealt with and am fine with but this is very different - a nagging pain that I cannot resolve or answer, that is more painful by the year.

I think what I would like to resolve is a simple yes or no answer - did this happen? Part of me, the open minded side, knows the answer already, but the rational side of me says no, its just a process in this life. If its true, and if i did take part in this conflict, then it would be for me, the last in a long line of events that led me down a sorry path, which at one time was too difficult for me to deal with, but now i just need an answer, because no answer is more difficult to deal with.

thanks for now,

S:)

Welcome to the forum seraphim26.

Here is the link to the audio cd's that alaskanlaughter referred to.

How can I learn about my past lives? is a good thread that may help you to organize some of your thoughts about your memories.

What a Regression is and what to expect is a thread that you may find interesting and helpful.

If you feel comfortable sharing any details of memories or details of what you are thinking are memories, then there may be members who could ask pertinent questions and maybe help you sort out your feelings.

Hi seraphim,

Welcome to the forum, you've come to the right place, and you're not alone in trying to deal with your past life issues. I don't think anyone can regress and receive all the answers in one session. For most of us, like yourself, we just receive small pieces of the puzzle each time and it can take months, years, or even a whole lifetime and beyond to fit it all together. But it's good that you at least have something to go on.

I would definately check out the links that stardis has given you, there are some good suggestions there to help you find out more about your past lives. Different methods work for different people, so nobody can give you a definitive answer unfortunately, but we can give you a few suggestions for you to try out and those links are a good place to start. Good luck and let us know how you get on, and feel free to fire away with any more questions you may have.

Chris :)

thankyou stardis & Chris, I'll check through those links and have a read. I can give you a few of the details, and i'll try to put together something more substantial in the way of a 'list' of 'memories' that might be a bit better later.

The main points are - my memories do not go beyond the summer of 1968. The end/death that I 'remember' was violent. It was a combat situation. I was not, as far as I know, 'new' to the job, and that my time there had caused much upset to my family. I have more specific locations and details re the warzone and some information regards my home at the time too. I drew a picture of the place i saw during my first and only regression many years ago, a tropical beach, and was stunned to find a photgraph of the place that almost fits perfectly. Thanks for the time and lending me your ears all, Im not sure what I would have done with all this otherwise. Speak soon, S. :)

Thanks Ailish

Ive read through the provided links with much interest and added the roger woolger site to my favourites. I've put off dealing with this issue for a long time; its been at the back of my mind constantly for many years, and previously the thought of dealing with the associated pain of those 'memories' was too difficult to contemplate. During the only regression ive had i was shown/saw the end/death which confirmed my previous thoughts, but didnt see or deal with any 'post death' issues - there simply wasnt time. I dont know why this all affects me so much; the feelings I have about this issue weigh heavily, and yet the issues in this life i have managed, dealt with and sorted through appropriately. All i know is that the longer this issue goes on, and remains the way it is, the harder it is to deal with.

I have put together some more information about this, which is listed below. I'll get the images scanned and try to add them to future posts.

Childhood/Earliest memories -

From as far back as I can remember i have always loved the outdoors; we lived almost next to the countryside and i had a fascination for the forests near our home, quite why i dont know. I grew up watching tv as most kids do, and i cannot say that i had a particular thing for war, war films or war history, but something led me to become interested in the Vietnam war, why or when this began i have no clear memory of.

I had a tendency to enjoy things related to the fifties and sixties american lifestyle, the music, cars, society and so forth. The subject of the Vietnam war hit harder than most anything else, but why, again, I dont know. I was young and perhaps impressionable yes, but for me, and my opinion, such a fascination set itself apart from my other interests - nothing affected me the way that time period, or indeed the war did. My earliest 'flash' of a past life if you like came in the form of confusing imagery, running, chaos, falling, black. this repeated on and off for a while, again, why, i dont know.

Teens

In 1993 i was diagnosed with Leukaemia, and spent quite awhile dealing with my illness. Even though I still had thoughts regards these 'flashes', much of my time was spent dealing with my health.

1st/only visit to regressionist

I had the opportunity to tag along with a friend who was going to see a regressionist for a small article he was writing about past lives. During our time there the regressionist offered to give us an insight into what it was like an we both 'had a try'. I was relaxed in a recliner and my friend was in a comfy chair. Music was playing on a stereo in the background. The process led me to find myself sitting on a tranquil beach, staring up at a blue sky with the sun high and the tide lapping quietly on the shore. After a short time i looked down to my right, and noticed a small silver transistor radio on the sand, next to which were several glass coca cola bottles. I was laid on a chair with simple sandals on and bermuda type shorts. I looked to my right and could see and hear men messing about in the surf, and a few walking along the beach. The beach was brroad and sandy, curved round to the right where large green tropical hills gave way to the sea in the distance. My attention was taken to my left, where sat next to me was a young, medium built man, dressed only in bermuda type shorts and sandals. He was friendly and smiling. He had a chain round his neck, had ginger hair and freckles and spoke in a strong 'californian' accent. He said that he was a long time friend, and now my guardian. He was reluctant to show me what i wanted to see but then i had flashes of what had been on my mind before - running, chaos, falling, black. He showed me images of combat, chaotic stuff, and said that was how i met my end, and that i was right, that i knew the answers already. He said he wouldnt show me more then, but i would find out more in the future, and that he had to go. The session ended shortly after. I drew the beach i was sat on, and the things that were around me. Oddly enough i have alot of trouble drawing him.

Adulthood

Other things came to me over time. The next thing i began to see was looking out of a window, down onto a rainy street, filled with sadness. In time i learned that this was when i left to go to war, and that this was after i had returned once already. The home was a family home. I had visions of a 'jungle' camp, feelings of choking heat, more images of violence. A place name came to me, and when i looked on the internet, i felt sick. The place name is An Khe. I found a photo of the same beach i had drawn, a place called camh ranh bay. I had never heard of either.

This is a very basic outline of the things that have come to weigh on my shoulders, these things are hard for me to write about; so I'll leave it there for now. Ill try and get the images scanned and added asap. Thanks for now, S.

Thanks for sharing those memories. I can tell they must be difficult for you. I too have memories of dying during a jungle war. I'm tempted to say it was Vietnam but I'm not sure. I was a little dark boy who was shot while running through the jungle.

Let us know how those links work for you and if it helps your progress.

Hi Seraphim and welcome :)

As Chris said, you've come to the right place. I'm really fascinating by your past life story and curious to hear more as well. I do hope that you perhaps will find some of regression-cd's helpful, I know many people - myself included - have. If you need any recommendations, feel free to ask :)

I was wondering, is this the only past life you have uncovered or are you aware of others? If so, is there a trend in your past lives? Do they revolve around the same theme?

:)

Thanks Alaskan & Sunniva

Its odd in that i feel more certain about the 'memories' of that conflict than i do with some in this lifetime; and yet there is still the uncertainty caused by it being a 'memory' i shouldnt have. The end/death was shockingly clear; i can remember feeling my feet thumping the hard ground as i ran, the 'cracking' of gunfire; the heaviness of my breath, seeing a soldier infront of me, what he was wearing - even the sweat and dust on his back; then time stopped, there was no sound; a hard 'thud' and dirt and dust was thrown up into the air immediately on my right, the ground rushed up to meet me, then nothing. I have no 'memories' beyond that point.

Regards other 'memories' yes, i think, going as far back as ancient japan. Most of the decor in our home and garden is oriental in some way; both myself and my partner enjoy this type of style. I have strong interests in several conflicts, but more generally than the Vietnam war; and i guess its easy to see a theme. Perhaps this was the case, i dont know, all i know is that the 'memories' of this most recent past life are the hardest to deal with.

I wasnt sure about self regression; ive practiced meditation and relaxation, and had some interesting insights before, but never specifically for the purpose of looking at a past life. I wasnt sure because of my own questions about the reality of it all - if i do this myself, without an outside perspective, am i telling myself what i want to hear? Like i said - the open minded part of me knows the answers already, that this most recent past life is one in a long chain, and that i am justified in the guilt that i feel, but the rational part of me says that this is a natural part of this life....can i do this myself and be confident with the answers?

thanks for all your time and understanding - it helps. :)

S

Hi Seraphim! I'm really glad you found us - welcome!

Thank you so much for sharing your memories and your feelings. I think we all know how hard this is sometimes...

I know what you mean - when you say that your more open minded side knows the answers already but then there's the "rational you" trying to sort things out and being critical about them. That's what I do all the time. Like I told a dear friend recently - I know that red is red, but I feel comfortable calling it pink sometimes.. :D

But - I think it's also a positive thing - being rational and questioning things.

I think you have a lot of detail in your memories - in my opinion, you have several things validating your story - place names, descriptions... many things. I'm fascinated - I'm all ears whenever you want to share more.

As to your question - if you can be confident with answers you get in self regression. I have never been regressed by others, though I would like to, but I'd have to find someone I trust, and it's not that easy.

So, self regression and meditation have been my media. And after a while, I feel that I can rely on my own feelings, yes.

You know - I think that we tend to expect the memory process with past lives to be different somehow, from our present life one. More - momentous, maybe. And gradually I have been feeling that this is not the case at all - remembering some things feels just as grand as remembering what you had for supper last night.

So, what I do is - I take things as they come, write them down, think about them... I try to put the rational me aside for a while and just assume that these are indeed my feelings and thoughts - past life related or not. After that - I start questioning, searching, organizing.... some things I have been able to validate, others still remain a mistery.

I'm sure of one thing though: it's a great process, a great journey - one that I'm really enjoying! ;)

I look forward to hearing more of you - we'll lend you both ears gladly anytime! :D

Hey Heart, thanks.

I guess its a process; but i hope i can gain some understanding and answers with some degree of impartiality as i go along. If i listened wholeheartedly to my open minded self then like i say, i know the answers already, that indeed the Vietnam experience was the last in a long line of past lives and that most were not good in one way or another. If i listen to that side i know that i have been a 'military' type on and off for the bulk of those lives, and have not been the nicest of people, but good lay at the bottom of my heart and that i have made the same mistakes frequently. If i listen to that side my instincts tell me the reasons for my being ill in this life, and why i have changed so much; and yet there is always the rational part of our mind that says 'yes but....'

It feels like im stuck in a no mans land between questions and answers, and no clear direction with either.

It seems the image files are a tad too large to upload, so ill try and resize them, unless there is another way i can add them?

I dont know whether my experience during the 1st regression was a regression or not; I spoke to a friend who told me he was now my guardian - is this true of all regressions? Or did i experience something different? The hardest part is having so many parts of a puzzle that i cant put together.

Thanks for now. S.

I had a strange dream the other night; after i had gotten very frustrated with my past life 'memories'. I had pretty much decided to give up on finding out more, as meditation for me at the moment seems to be rather difficult. That night I saw the end/ death with more clarity than before, starkly so; and im not quite sure what to make of it.

The image is roughly the same - running, chaos, falling, black. I am running in what appears to be a line, at quite a pace. There is a man in front of me, slightly to the left about 5 metres ahead. There are two more to my right, and one that im aware of to my left; these are a little behind me. The ground thuds under my feet as i run, the air is so hot and humid, i can almost feel the hot air as i gasp for air. The sun is high in the sky. I can hear the crackzip of bullets, and the crackcrackrack of nearby gunfire, Its very loud, people are shouting and yelling at each other but i cant quite hear them. My heart is pounding and i can hear myself gulping for air as i run. I watch the back of the man ahead of me - he is wearing green, a green helmet and there is something light jammed into its band on the right side. He has a set of 'webbing' on i can see the green yoke over his shoulders, two straps running down his back and the pouches bobbing up and down as he runs. The sun is hitting his shoulders, showing the red dirt and sweat on his back turning it almost black. I think his sleeves are rolled up and he is clutching a rifle as he runs. Suddenly there is no sound; it feels like someone has picked the ground up under me and slammed it back down again, dirt, dust and smoke blow up into the air immediately to my right, the ground rushes up to meet me and then; black.

I woke up at this point. I'm not sure why I had this dream, but it is much more clear than i remember. Is it odd to dream about this? I am finding meditation difficult at the minute and must admit its a bit frustrating.

Hi Seraphim.

Welcome to the forum. I too have a variety of rather shocking memories of various gorey battlefield exploits. I know what it's like! It can be very vivid and rather disturbing sometimes, but try not to dwell or stress too much about it if you can. Try to learn to 'turn down the volume' (and the colour) on them if you can and remind yourself that was then and this is now and you are fine and safe and not in danger. Post-traumatic past-life stress disorder! Indeed.

Sadly the 'hah' moment is avoiding me; I seem to have a collection of confusing pieces that may well fit together in some way, but im lacking the important pieces of the puzzle to finally put them together. This is the same for many 'memories' i have, not only for this life, but for others; my feeling is that; if this is indeed a past life; that my interests and feelings for other things are other links in a long chain. At the moment i seem to remember or be given 'memories' that are not; as far as i am aware, chosen by me; rather they are selected and given to me in spits n spats.
This is how it is sometimes. It is quite normal for things to be a bit patchy. It's a bit like digging up pieces of ancient pottery that might not seem to fit together at first. Just keep at it. More will become clear before long.

Don't try to hard. Don't try to force it. Just let it come in its own time. Keeping a journal is an excellent way to make progress with things like this. Sometimes just the act of writing it all down in a quiet, private space, can bring some clarity. Pictures, diagrams, random words and thoughts, doodles.... all good for letting the images float up by themselves. Sometimes you might come back to it after a while and read back over what you have written when you are 'in the mood' and get more insights as well.

It seems the image files are a tad too large to upload, so ill try and resize them, unless there is another way i can add them?
Try resizing them then post them to: www.photobucket.com.au then put in a link with

tags around it

Thanks TanguerraI often get bits and bobs that come to me randomly; sometimes its very hard to deal with, and its hard to explain why- its not as if ive ever been to the place or experienced anything like it in this life, on the contrary, my illness stopped me from ever taking such a path, or one with the military. Ive finally been able to upload some of the images i have, and ill add the last coupl in the next post. They are listed below. Ill give a brief explanation of each and will explain more about them later. Thanks for now, S.List of images:Fig 1 - the beach as i remember it from my one time regression.Fig1a - the recently discovered photo of Cam Ranh Bay, a strikingly similar place to me.Fig2 - view from window down onto rainy street.Fig2a - (approx) layout of home, though im not sure of this, im taking this from the view from the bedroom door.Fig3 - 1st Air Cavalry badge - there is a strong association to this division, and later a place called An Khe. I later found out that they were stationed here during the war, quite to my shock.more images to follow.

Another couple of images. Fig 4 is a drawing of the jungle camp I was looking out over. I have a colour drawing of this too. Fig 6 is the badge of the 5th Cavalry; I have a strong attachment to these, again I found out they were stationed at An Khe, and even more, were a part of the 1st Air Cav. The information regards An Khe came to me quite out of the blue, around a year ago, and i sat down to try and see if it was a real place. To my shock i learned that it was indeed very much real. Not long before I joined this forum I found a website dedicated to those who were there, and some of the images had my stomach spinning, as alot of information that i had previously thought was my own musings was staring back at me. I am still trying to put all of this together in my head, and have yet to put the pieces in order. its a painful thing to do; and i am weighed with something that im not even sure about. I do not know why i have knowledge or 'memories' of this place, and its events, but the feeling of emotion it brings is phenomenal - as yet i am not able to make full sense of it all, but instead am weighed with the feelings it brings.S.note - The peace symbol displayed under your post is also very stark to me Tanguerra, the symbol itself was one of the early associations i had, why, again, im not sure.

one more image to add. The first is one of the original sketches of the jungle camp, this one is in colour; the main thing i couldnt get out of my head was the red earth (?) The view between the trees led to more hills in the distance and this was the direction that helicopters approached from. I think this may have been atop a hill or on the slope of a hill/ridge as i think i was looking down over the area. The jungle was dense around the camp, sloping away from the perimeter. There were small trenches around the edge facing out, and green 'tents' dotted about. From where i was looking there was a big sandbagged position with i think what was a machinegun in it. The sky was blue with some clouds and the sun was high. It was very hot, with little or no breeze. Thanks for now, S.

Seraphim -- I'm curious, did you experience any form of healing from your regression experience (emotionally or physically)? I think you're really lucky to have a spirit guide there to explain things to you ... maybe you can ask your guide why you're having this dream right now ... what's the purpose of it?

Thanks Jody

Sadly no, i didnt experience any form of healing; it was more like a statement of what happened. I have asked my guide/guardian for assistance with this matter on many occasions, and true i do get 'spits n spats' as i said, but nothing drastic. The only real thing i would say that is consistant with it all is the sometimes overwhelming feelings of sadness, guilt, anger, frustration; but i couldnt tell you why. Its like looking at a torn up picture that you only have scattered parts of, and having strong feelings about something that you cant even see. The images ive uploaded are general representations of the kind of things i do remember, put together with recent research. 2+2=...?

I am currently waiting on the arrival of a regression cd from brian weiss, and im going to give that a try, i hope it gives me something more than the feelings i have now.

Thanks for now, S.

The peace symbol displayed under your post is also very stark to me Tanguerra, the symbol itself was one of the early associations i had, why, again, im not sure.
I know, Seraphim. That's why I used it. :)

I remember when the Viet Nam war was actually going on. I was in my teens or so then. The 'peace symbol' was very much the thing at the time and it was a direct protest against that particular war, which was widely considered to be an unjust war (without straying too far into current politics - you could consider similarities with the Iraq wars in recent times). Indeed, many soldiers in Viet Nam had such stickers on their helmets (usually as an ironic protest of sorts, against the draft). I thought it might resonate with you!

I understand that Soulfriendly and Jody's remarks regarding healing and so on are well meant, but I understand if it is too soon for you to be feeling any kind of 'healing' at this point in your explorations and that's perfectly reasonable. After all, you are still trying to put the pieces together. That's all OK. There is no rush. You take your time!

Its like looking at a torn up picture that you only have scattered parts of, and having strong feelings about something that you cant even see. The images ive uploaded are general representations of the kind of things i do remember, put together with recent research. 2+2=...?
I know exactly what you mean by this! Beware of doing too much 'research' at this stage. You can do that 'later'. I have no doubt that what you are experiencing are past life memories. They seem to vivid and too detailed to be anything else.

Concentrate on what you are remembering for now - particularly the emotions. Try not to dwell on the "gory details" (the really scary bits) more than necessary for your own sake would be my advice.

Battlefield memories are extremely difficult. Whether they are past or present life related - the shock and the trauma and the violence and the horror of war has to be experienced to be believed. People who have not 'been there' cannot understand it. Present life soldiers will attest to this I'm sure, and it makes no difference how long ago your experience might have been - a few decades, a few centuries, thousands of years - war is war. It's a nasty business. I understand (I hope).

I have been troubled by such things since early childhood - long before I had any idea what it might all be about. Indeed, the first past life memory that I remember having in any detail was about a battle. I wrote a bit about it. There have been many dozens since then. None of them I wish to trouble anybody else with.

In my youth, despite all sorts of evidence to the contrary I often wondered if I might not be a bit 'crazy' when troubled by so many blood splattered images! I didn't know if it was 'my imagination' or ... what? After all, I am an 'above average' female, pacifist, vegetarian 'greenie' who, literally, can't bring myself to hurt a fly. So..... what the???

Luckily, after having discovered this marvellous forum and found that I am not alone and this is 'just' past life memories, I now have a much better context in which to fit all this 'stuff' After many years I have learned to put it all into some kind of perspective. It takes time. Professional regression is indeed very helpful. So is deep personal thought about all these sorts of things.

Human history is also the history of war. We live in an almost unparalelled period of peace (for the moment, touch wood). But 'war' has been part of our civilization for better or for worse for thousands and thousands of years. These things 'happen'.

There are benefits. I am not physically afraid of anything. After all, the worst things that can possibly happen have already happened to me (more than once) and here I am again!

Take it slowly. All will be revealed.

Thanks again Tanguerra

I drew many images when i was younger that included the peace symbol; it seemed to just be appropriate at the time, quite why im not sure. It came along with a love for music of the time and recognising the whole 60s genre; but the most uncomfortable was the war. The associations with it have always been difficult, and it would always throw up strong emotions. I never looked at the war as just or unjust (although now I take the view that the whole thing was a terrible tragedy for all involved), just that it was hell itself to go through, and there were many feelings of guilt and sadness at the suffering of it all; pretty odd as ive never even been to the place. Images send a shiver up my spine or turn my stomach, not for the gore or violence, having been ill for the past 16 years it takes alot to turn my stomach; but rather the overriding 'closeness' of it all. Its daft but even certain sounds associated with it all can make me shudder sometimes.

Research wise i try not to go ploughing the net in hope of striking a chord, rather i tend to check around if i remember something; the drawings ive done i did all way before the photos were ever even seen, and the same goes for place names and so on. I can read or watch films or documentaries, and this is the odd thing, only certain subjects regards the war affect me, and certain time frames - i can very easily palm off certain books or programs and instead be drawn to others; something for me anyway that always has been unusual. As yet ive been unable to put this all in order and hope that over time i can put it all to rest; for me, this is something of a neccessity; ive dealt with alot through my life and this would be something, one thing, i can get some measure of peace and understanding with and perhaps answer some other questions i have about this and other possible past lives that may i feel be waiting in the wings as it were. I think if these 'memories' prove to be true, then i have a chain of other, older 'memories' that will fall into place from other times that all have a similar theme. Maybe this is why i ended up having the circumstance i had in this life?

Thanks for now, S.

Hi Seraphim,

YOur pictures are very interesting.. How amazing you are so attracted to that time. I know a woman who had a dream parralleling a death in Vietnam.. She is always attracted to the fashions of the hippy genertion.. things long out of style but she wears them very proudly. Yet she does not have the deep longing like you about that time.. maybe in time..

So there must be something in particular that maybe you should remember. It may take time . I am for trying to remember the hard things to remember as for me that brought some resolutions.. I also like to do some positive affirmative meditations in between to affirm my love of the world I live in now.

And like you said remembering other lives that lead up to this time can lead to great insights.

good luck and keep us posted. soulfreindly

Thanks once again soulfriendly

I think perhaps that if i am to remember it might be a kind of 'outline' of each life; though im not sure - i get the feeling that there is something more for me to learn other than the details of the life/lives in general; this is why i feel that there is an overridding theme to most if not all of them.

Further to this i managed to crash and meditate for awhile and found myself speaking to my friend and guide. I saw his face once more and was surprised at how young he looked. In the short time he was in my mind he said that he knew i wanted to learn more but it cant come all at once, it would be too hard on me, and that i should stop punishing myself. He did give me a couple more things to work out; i think though this is just the way they came across to me. He said 1965 was important to me, (though things 'ended' in 1968) and that 'my name is on the wall' (?) He said i was right and that i should trust myself more, and more would come. This is very hard for me to process; alot of information or messages?

Thanks for now, S:rolleyes:

Thats a shock; you know, as silly as it sounds i never even considered the memorial - i thought it was a metaphore or some other cryptic clue. That makes it all very real to me. Previously i considered that it was all just confusion and maybe just things that my mind was throwing out to do with things that have gone on in this life; my minds way of putting things together or dealing with hard issues. The Wall makes it much more real; a physical and emotional thing that is not just a memory, but literally set in stone; reflected back. In all of my wonderings ive never even thought of the fact that those memories could lead to such an answer, rather it was something consigned to history in books or programs, and the memories of those who lived through it all. The answers i was looking for were resolutions to the questions i had in my mind about the possibility that this had occured, but to get such a stark response, to know that there is a name that once belonged to you, that makes it more than just a memory, but much more personal. I dont quite know how i feel about it yet; previously it was just something in my mind, now, its so much more. Is it always such a big thing, dealing with past lives? Or is it easier with some?

S.

Yeh Seraphim,, I understand the stark reality of your finding a real material reminder and yes that it did really actually occur.. funny though eh>?? that you did not come to thinking of it. .Too much emotions behind it I would guess?? ... The wall is an emotional location even for me .. not having any ties to Vietnam other than freinds who dodged the draft. And so for you must be a biggy..

I was very suprised for you to find that it is called the wall. I had just figured it looked like a wall and that is why I googled it.

I had my reality hit me when someone who is living was interviewed on TV about the time I experienced in the medical experiments in Auschwitz in 1944. She talked of the very same thing happening to children as had happened to me and my twin sister.. something that was hard to really believe... and I still have a difficult time. I broke out sobbing ,falling to the ground-- and I am good at hiding my reactions... I tried to contact those twins who had survived but no reply.. I am having a hard time doing it again. But maybe for my good to bite the bullet and give it another go.

Have you given any thought as to how to approach things now? Try and remember your name? Visit the wall.? I had one time where I remembered a name... and it was verified .. No last name though..

I think I would start with the other messages your guide gave you.. the date 1965 and see if in a regression something comes to you. Sometimes getting to know your self better from that past might make it easier to arrive at your name..

I think perhaps that the emotions of the whole thing had me a little ajar from it ever being a physical reality. History is something we most often see in books or museams, or on tv. To see a name, or face, and read about it knowing that you were once in those shoes, you once had that name, that makes it all very real.

I know we all take part in history in some small way, but you dont think of being able to look back in such ways, let alone be able to physically touch or be a part of it now. Such things throw up dilemmas of their own; finding a name, a place, knowing what happened, that especially in this instance, was something at the time, massive and tragic, affecting generations around the world, is no small thing in any way. I guess i was used to things swirling in my own mind, seeing or writing or drawing images that still left it somewhat detached, but to learn and realise 'your name is on the wall'....There it is. Strong stuff.

I think 1965 is probably a starting point, or important one as a military memory. I still have more to learn about home life, before or during this time, though i have some fragments, which are saddening. I know there is still more, an overall larger element i am yet to learn about, which makes a hard thing painfully curious.

Thanks for now, S.
