Same memory over and over again?

Hi!

During me meditating I have very often come to a specific scene that I believe is past life experience. It was a trauma. I keep reliving it.

I have thought lately that we are all made of energy, that we create energy, that we manipulate energy and that we leave energy behind. Thus a trauma in my past life is at some level a repeated trauma that keep happening at a specific place where it once did happen. To me there is nothing really one can do about that. I think it is just the left over energy from a bad fight between past life me and my past life husband. What is so difficult is that the same trauma keeps replaying itself in dreams and meditation.

Has anything close to this happened to someone else I would like to hear about it. I wonder if one can do anything about it - to make it stop?

sounds like ancient chi energy/qi gong/tai chi stuff or maybe something about being a monk in the temple and not been able to find out the full ways of how energy works.

I might be able to help, do you use discord?

Ive been doing meditation and a few energy/healing/banishing/purification techniques for a year or so now.

Hi, Li La:
I don’t meditate, but I have slipped into a WWI memory several times (I have always had a solid memory of a particularly frightening evening, and when I slip it’s just to another moment of what I’ve always assumed was the same night). I don’t think your problem can be fixed just like that, but I do believe you can coach yourself to move past this. Similar to how one focuses and can lucid dream or obtain pl memories by making a concentrated effort, see if you can move from always returning to the traumatic scene. I don’t think it’ll be easy and will take time.

Hi, thanks for writing. No, please explain the discord and the energy/healing/banishing/purification techniques that you use?

ha, ha that's funny, shows how much I know ;) sorry, my fault. I thought maybe it was a "cord" of some type that is used in some meditation...
well, i use golden light energy from golden source, i also do light explosion in a 360 radius.

Hi Li La,

You seem to be an intensely "relational" person. I.e., your traumas seem to have a lot to do with relationships and the break-down of relationships. You have experience in working with this type of trauma/break-down at this point. So, though I agree that energy is tied up in this memory, the question for me would be whether the breach can be healed and the energy thereby released. From what I have read, the techniques you have developed can possibly be used whether the spirit/soul with whom the breach/argument occurred is incarnate again elsewhere or disembodied. So, you may wish to try. From what I have seen, you have very good instincts in these matters. So, I would not be surprised if you were able to find a way to accomplish this. If it comes up again in meditation, etc., why don't you direct your attention to the other person and apologize for anything you think you may have done wrong, forgive anything you think they may have done wrong, and seek to reconcile?

Cordially,
S&S

Could it be something that has not in that life been cleared up? Even if you two stopped fighting afterwards was there something in the fight that was not sorted out? Something you have been running away from and maybe your soul is still running?

I have had one experience that kept coming back in my past life in the 1950's, I was involved with an artist who was used to being poor but he was on his way but I don't know if he believed that himself at that point, that it would last, that things would get better. In my experience I tried to convince him that we should marry right away, should just elope, never mind the consequences, but he told me that it was not the right time for us to marry. I took it the wrong way and suspected that he wasn't really sure about how he felt for me. That I loved him more. I was very hurt. I was so hurt that I could not find the words for it. I would not talk to him about it. I felt so embarrassed. I did the classical thing that I do (according to my husband at least) when I am hurt, I go inwards. Our relationship was not the same after that even though we both pretended it had not happened.

I kept getting back to it because I think that if we had eloped we would have made it. Instead our relationship crumbled over time, one misunderstanding after another. Other than him not wanting us to marry at that time and not being able to tell me when he wanted us to be married there were no signs that he did not love me enough but I held it against him. I could not get pass my view to why he had rejected me, us like that. He could not undo it.

I had to sort myself out, see my own flaws. I am always quick to see other people's flaws but I had to see my own which was a lot harder. I understood looking back that I did not understand what it was like to be poor, the way he knew it to be. I think I had always had money. I just did not know. I could not see it from that perspective. Again and again I just thought it has to do with him not loving me enough, not being sure enough about me.

My fear became my truth.

It all came down to that very moment in time, in our relationship, some time before we parted. It was a critical moment. Think it was why I kept returning to it, it was the last scene I ever wanted to go back to, I still feel kinda embarrass.
