My son is 3 years old and other than being a little neurotic he is a happy healthy little boy. The other day I was checking one of our local news channel websites on the internet. The main photo on the page was a mangled car that had been in a traffic accident and a bunch of firefighters standing around the vehicle. When my little guy saw the picture he turned to me, started pointing franticly and said "Mama do you remember when that happened to me?" I said something to the effect "what are you talking about" and he said "Remember when I was a police officer and I crashed into the buildings and was bleeding?
He was talking really fast and was excited and serious about what he was saying. He then said " I went to the hospital and I didn't make it". At that point I got a little freaked out and just said "well you are okay now" and he replied "I'm okay Momma, that was in my first life". At that point I got a little scared. I didn't want him to tell me anything else so I quickly changed the subject. He only watches morning pre-school cartoons - Dora the Explorer and Blues Clues type programs and has never been exposed to any sort of conversations on reincarnation or past lives. He never makes things up and has only recently started telling little fibs to get out of trouble i.e "no Mama I didn't throw cookies behind the couch" type statements. I don't know what to think. He was so serious when he was talking about it and it was like he was speaking from memory. Anyway I wanted to share my story as it has really made me change my opinion on the possibilty of reincarnation but at the same time really spooked me.
