Hi all! I just thought I would relate an experience that I had a year ago. My best friend was having a sleep-over party for her daughter's birthday and I volunteered to do a group regression for the kids. There were 10 of them, ranging in age from 10 to 14. All girls except one boy who was the birthday girl's cousin.
Anyway, I lit some candles, got them comfortable on the living room floor and proceeded to go through the relaxation, visualization, and deepening process. For the most part the giggles stopped and they became quiet and receptive. I took them through the often-used routine of going down a flight of stairs to a hallway with three doors. I had them pick a doorway and from there guided them to explore different rooms, picking up objects, looking for dates, observing others in the rooms, and so on. The entire regression lasted about 45 minutes and at the end I added some positive suggestions for them and gently brought them back to the present.
They were eager to share their experiences so we went around the circle and each related what they saw. One remembered a lifetime as a young girl in her bedroom in France, another saw herself in a room with long wooden tables and men drinking, one of the most vivid, however, was from the boy who recalled a lifetime as a monk. He was dressed in a brown robe and entered a sanctuary where there were others praying and singing. The next room was an office with a large desk and he was writing letters and sealing them with red wax.
Overall it was a great experience for all of us! I have done group regressions with adults before, but this was the first time I had ever tried regressing kids. They thought it was way cool. In fact, whenever I have seen any of them since they want to know when we can do it again!
I just wanted to share my experience as I am fairly new to this forum and am so glad to have found such a wonderfully open-minded and loving corner of the Internet!
