A group regression with kids

Hi all! I just thought I would relate an experience that I had a year ago. My best friend was having a sleep-over party for her daughter's birthday and I volunteered to do a group regression for the kids. There were 10 of them, ranging in age from 10 to 14. All girls except one boy who was the birthday girl's cousin.

Anyway, I lit some candles, got them comfortable on the living room floor and proceeded to go through the relaxation, visualization, and deepening process. For the most part the giggles stopped and they became quiet and receptive. I took them through the often-used routine of going down a flight of stairs to a hallway with three doors. I had them pick a doorway and from there guided them to explore different rooms, picking up objects, looking for dates, observing others in the rooms, and so on. The entire regression lasted about 45 minutes and at the end I added some positive suggestions for them and gently brought them back to the present.

They were eager to share their experiences so we went around the circle and each related what they saw. One remembered a lifetime as a young girl in her bedroom in France, another saw herself in a room with long wooden tables and men drinking, one of the most vivid, however, was from the boy who recalled a lifetime as a monk. He was dressed in a brown robe and entered a sanctuary where there were others praying and singing. The next room was an office with a large desk and he was writing letters and sealing them with red wax.

Overall it was a great experience for all of us! I have done group regressions with adults before, but this was the first time I had ever tried regressing kids. They thought it was way cool. In fact, whenever I have seen any of them since they want to know when we can do it again!

I just wanted to share my experience as I am fairly new to this forum and am so glad to have found such a wonderfully open-minded and loving corner of the Internet!

Welcome to the forum Anashanti,

WOW ---a proactive person and with children! RIGHT ON!!! Good for you and the children for teaching them young -how to tune into themselves.

I have done meditations with my children..it is always a gift -- such innocence -such depth in their memories and such depth in their understanding -

So -when are you going to do it again?

What a cool idea for a birthday party!

One question though... did you tell any of the parents beforehand? Or did any of them have a problem with it after? And how did you introduce the topic to the kids?

Hi Anashanti

Welcome to the forum

Well what a great party that must have been for the kids there!!! Makes musical chairs and pass the parcel seem less exciting doesn’t it….LOL

Way to go….

Wow guys, thanks for the welcome!

To answer the questions: I personally did not ask the parents. My friend that was hosting the party mentioned to the parents that I would be coming to do it. No one seemed to have any problem with it, granted, most of the families are pretty open-minded anyway. As far as introducing the subject to the kids I just explained that it was like taking a voyage in your mind and all they needed to do was relax and play along. Many of them were already familiar with the concept of past lives and one 13 year old told me that she was certain that she was the reincarnation of her grandfather. Apparently her family has been aware of this since she was very small. They were all amazingly receptive and of course I let them know that they would be in control of their experience at all times and if they wanted to leave the room they were free to do so at any time. There were two girls who had a hard time settling down and focusing, they were giggling and whispering a lot at first, but eventually they quieted down. I think that for the most part the kids just thought of it as a fun game and didn't take it all to seriously ~ which I think is great!

The birthday girl has already asked me to do it again at her next party (in November) so I suppose I will. I think that the age group is really good for group regression, but I'm not sure if it would be as successful with younger kids. I'm definately interested in continuing to work with children, though!

love to all,

I thought this was a beautiful experience - and others may be interested in reading it.

I want to go to a party like that!

but sadly for yours truely, none of my friends (except for 3) believe in reincarnation. I know this sounds odd but all my friends belong to devout catholic or athiest families who don't believe in any of it. oh well....

Anashanti, may I ask where you live? I'm in NY...

I need to do a regression, I have problems I believe are from past lives. I have got readings before, and seen some things myself. But have really no memory of anything.

Do you do regressions over the net? Like using a software that has a mic option?
