Just a regular dad
Hello everyone. I am very new here and stumbled upon this forum quite by accident. I hope that this is not a stupid post, but I am quite sure that someone will have an answer/explanation for me that will make sense.
When my youngest son was born, he is 10 now, my wife consulted a psychic within about two weeks of his delivery. Part of the information that the psychic talked to her about was the fact that our son seemed to be relatively inactive when compared to his siblings (he has four). My wife acknowledged that that was indeed a concern and was told that she should be patient with him. The reason for this was that he was confused by his sudden reincarnation. She told my wife that he had been a young man, living in Indiana, that had been suddenly killed in a traffic accident only weeks prior to our son being born. She also told my wife that if she would simply wait a couple of more weeks that she would see a tremendous change in his activity and his awareness of his surroundings.
This turned out to be the case, and I have always wondered if this was real, or just the developmental cycle of a newborn. He was not born early, but did seem to be a little less active and aware than his sibs. Then one day, it was almost like a shroud had been lifted and he was "with us" so to speak.
He is aware of the story of his previous life, but has never given us any indication that he "remembers" anything about it, nor has he showed any propensity for anything out of the ordinary as far as abilities or interests of which I am aware.
I am just curious about this type of reincarnation, and whether it is something that should be taken seriously or is it bunk perpetrated by a money-making psychic service.
I don't know that it will effect my life, or his, in any tangible way to know the answer, but it will always be there in the back of my mind, and maybe his as well as he grows older.
Thank you all in advance for any information you can provide. I think it will put my mind at ease if nothing else.
Even though I am not really sure why it bothers me. I just know that it does.
