Aaliyah and her "gang"

Hi all! It has been a very long time since I have posted in these forums...life just kinda gets in the way, you know? Working full time and taking care of 5 kiddos doesn't leave much time for anything else, lol. Anyway, I hope everyone is well and I have something I would like to share and see if I can get some feedback.
My daughter Aaliyah, who I have posted about before in the past, is now 3 1/2 years old and quite something, let me tell you! She began talking clearly at a very early age thanks to 4 older siblings and has been talking about her "friends" since she was about 1 1/2. Back then she only called them "my friends" or "the guys". But they went everywhere she went, she would tell us where they were standing (usually right next to her) and she would even tell us things they were doing (digging, talking, laughing, etc). They went to restaurants with us, walked big brother Cameron to school a long side her stroller, in other words they were always around. Once she talked a little more she finally began putting names to the "guys". The first one was Rudy Pakpak, or just Rudy. We have no idea where this name comes from, she has never met anyone with the name Rudy at all and yes, Rudy is a guy, lol. He is always with her and she talks to him all the time. The rest of the friends also have names that have been coming up more lately: Logan, Evan, Jacob, and Jason. One night I watched her have a conversation with "Jacob" about his name she was asking him, "now is it 'Jake' or 'Jacob'? Jacob? Ok...Jacob" as if she was asking him what to call him. She calls these guys her friends and she is always consistent about them, their names never change, she never forgets one though Rudy remains her best friend (as in the one she talks to and about the most). Keep in mind, she doesn't know anyone with these names, they aren't characters in a show she watches, she came up with these names all on her own. And in the past few months another name has come up. Her "boy" name. It's Duke. She will put on a cap and try to deepen her voice (as much as a 3 year old girl can, lol) and tell me her name is Duke and that she's a boy. Once again, not a name we believe she has heard somewhere as its not a very common name.
So the male persona plus the male friends she interacts with made me wonder if this is maybe something from a past life. I really would love to know what others might think about it. When she isn't being Duke she is really a very girly girl. She loves dressing up like a princess, wearing dresses, getting her hair done, jewelry, etc it's only when she is being Duke that she becomes different. Any input would be appreciated!

Hi mamakaykay, welcome back :)

Thanks for the update on Aaliyah, it sounds like she could be remembering a past life. You already know what I'm going to say don't you? Write everything down, get her to draw pictures etc, maybe you could ask her a few simple questions like "What are they wearing?" or "How old are they?" and "What sort of games do they like to play?" :) Please keep us updated, I hope she tells you more about Duke and his friends.

Chris :)

Hi Mamakaykay! Glad to see you back! I've been following your posts about Aaliyah and Cameron with great interest. When you describe her "friends", I tend to think that she is actually aware of their presence, which is more psychic in nature than reincarnation. Of course, they must have known each other during past incarnations; and the name "Duke" would probably have derived from a past life, as well.

Your kids are remarkable and I look forward to your continued progress reports.

Thanks for the replies! I have also wondered if this is a psychic connection she is making...I have had many experiences with the "other side" though much more in my childhood years and 2 of our other children (Lexie and Cameron) have also had several experiences with Lexie being by far the most sensitive to the spirit world but that's a whole other story, lol. I just know a 3 year old doesn't come up with these names on her own. I have tried to ask her things about them and sometimes she gives me straight answers but other times she is pretty silly about it. Rudy can vary in age which makes me wonder if he may have been someone she knew for a long time. Sometimes he is a child, like her but other times he is a grown man of 29 (she said this age) who has a job. But he is always her best friend. He definitely seems like the most important of all her friends. As for writing it down; I try but this is such an everyday thing that I would be spending all of my time writing, lol. I do have her on video talking to Rudy though. I was filming her singing a song when suddenly she stops singing, turns to her left and says "stop it Rudy Pakpak...go eat your cookie!" then continues on like nothing happened. Everyone who has seen the video thought that was hilarious and anyone who knows Aaliyah well knows all about Rudy Pakpak!
