about what percentage of people here found there exact previous identity

i notice that some people seem to have been able to locate the exact person they were in a previous life, around what percentage of people here were able to locate the exact person they were?

No idea of percentages, though I have found some myself. Surprisingly, the actual former previous identity was not the goal, nor were they specifically sought. I had catalogued the experiences, events and memories of those lives and the identities came through various serendipitous means, often completely out of the blue...well they seemed like that anyway...I am sure on some level they were sent to me.

I've been able to verify all but two in relatively modern times. The ones before 1400, no. Some other members have extremely well-verified lives. Some don't find it to be important. I think we get verifiable identities from guidance, if we are the kind of person who needs it. I do think they send the memories, for reasons of their own!

Now as for myself, a few have been able to specify in specifics but for the majority of them it is only in generalities it seems. Personally do think that part of the reason at least for myself is that on how much does a part of myself 'Block' when it comes to receiving the specifics. It seems as if a part of myself blocks out the names and the pain in receiving info. on a past life. Now our guides might be willing to give us more, but how much of our ownselves might block the information from coming to us. So we might talk on all of this and think that we desire more. But is this truly what we desire? But my question is, Do You really want to receive All of that Info. concerning your past lives including with all the pain and what all? There is a purpose for us not to remember our past lives for we can concentrate and proceed fully with the present one do think. Again as for myself, I think I desire to know more. But when I really look deeply, it seems that it is just myself that is blocking in the receiving into the conscious mind more info on those past lives for whatever reason.

Wishing You the Best!

I have managed to find one of my past lives on the census records. I have first names for many of my other lives but not enough additional information to identify them specifically in historic documents or archives, although it’s early days yet! The more I travel the road of reincarnation exploration, the more I realise that names and dates just aren’t that important from the perspective of the soul. Think of it this way: you know your family members and friends, and you would recognise them in a heartbeat, but you don’t need to know all their dates of birth, birthplaces, middle names, PIN numbers etc to recognise them and feel an emotional connection to them (or, an even better analogy, your pets know and love you, but they don’t need to know your name to do so!). In the same way, I recognise the ‘feel’ of each of my PLs, despite not having much in the way of evidence that most of them ever existed. I’ve found paper evidence for one, which gives me the confidence to trust in the others.

Of course, finding ‘your’ name on a historical document is always an exciting, joyous and mildly terrifying experience, and a small part of me always hopes to find ‘myself’ on a census, or a record, but there’s only so much you can gain from always chasing bits of paper. (Except photographs, they’re very powerful documents in a whole different way!)

That's how I found both of mine. It took some work on my part, but they were both definitely handed to me.

I however did have an itch I couldn't seem to scratch and even if I had found them on my own, eventually, I wouldn't have believed it.

I have not had more than snippets of past lives, I never seem to revisit the same one in a session, and nothing comes to me out of the blue. I'm not sure how I would feel if I could absolutely verify any one of these. I thought my best chance would have been the one where I lived a mile or so from where I grew up in this life - and I did get more on that one I think - but came up with only first names.

Quite a few. It depends if your 'person' left any mark on history of course and if there is still any record of that person, which is easier with the more recent lives. But it happens more often than you might think.

I read here somewhere not long ago of a WWII fighter pilot who found his own grave. I thought that was pretty impressive.

I have to second this. I wanted to know who I was for over 10 years. Of course, the information never came when I wanted it, but when I had completely given up on reincarnation. Then my guides deemed it necessary for me to know. Funny how these things work. Once I had a full name, rank, age, and branch of service. Finding a person who matched up with it all 100% was absolutely terrifying. It took a lot of digging around through historical documents and records to find military lists with names on them. From there the research confirmed everything I had already known. Had I found out when I was younger I do not think I would have had the mental composure to deal with it, nor the time to do the research it required, as well as the funds necessary to undertake the research. I also know a lot of records have been sealed in Germany until quite recently too.

I have completely validated two of the many past lives I remember. One came quite unexpected, I have no patience to research properly for too long, I was trying to validate a small detail and the person who helped me just put the place where I should look in front of my eyes. I agree sometimes it happens "by chance" (that is, carefully planned by guides). The other came through some serious and solitary research on my part. I think I was quite lucky in both cases, the historical references are short but quite meaningful and it left me with no doubts.

Once you've done this and you have proved to yourself you're not crazy, it's like you don't give so much importance to this kind of validations anymore, but for me it was a huge milestone on my journey, it was the day I got 100% convinced (well, maybe 98%) that reincarnation is a fact, not a belief.

Hi Mike,

I managed to find mine but again it took time and and awful lot of research.

I think most recent lives from WW1 & 2 are probably the easiest.

I agree with most that guides put relevant information in place for you. I kept drawing blanks on mine coming back to the same person who was in Paris but my dreams were set in countryside surroundings, a forest and allotment were frequent and I was always cycling. By chance I found an article on how I cycled out of Paris daily to an agricultural school to send messages. It made sense then & I stopped doubting and went with what my gut instinct had been telling me all along.

Also with Zeon and if you're not finding it yet maybe you're not ready.

Misty I only got snippets of different lives for the first couple of years. Again I think it's how it's meant to be, we probably can't cope with everything at once. Gradually things fit together.

Although I am still not sure if they were PLs or random memories, I have managed to track down nearly all of my past life memory snippets. But I always seem to be given just enough information in the dreams to be able to identify them, though the means of identification always arise out of the blue.

For example, the appropriate census record for one memory was thrown in front of me by the computer whilst researching a completely different memory; and in another, the bus chanced to stop opposite a street where I recognised a building from a dream and thus verified another memory whilst researching the history of the building.

Other times I make some headway but am left dangling until the Universe decides to share some further tidbits with me! LOL

I've found only two names to connect to two past lives. I have more past lives with no names than I do ones with names.

thanks for the replies.

maybe i poll might have been a better idea
yes. i didnt know how to do that, and dont know if its worth starting another thread.

i actually wish i was this person, he must have had a pretty cool life unless theres something i dont know about. plus it would make things in my life make more sense. he died 7 years before i was born, i dated his daughter 14 years ago.

she has the "advantage" of knowing both him and me in the same lifetime and when she knew me she was heavily into yoga which believes in reincarnation, but she never hinted if she suspected i might be her dad despite having known us both in the same lifetime.

ive never had any memories, visions or even dreams related to past life, its just a bunch of coincidences that i ponder which i had written about in a different thread. maybe i will try seeing a psychic.

Out of all of my lives, I have found the exact identity of one. Only one. And it's thanks to having had a famous family in that life, though who I was in that life is not well-known in the present.

I haven't found exact identities of other lives. I've had some clues but not enough to really be able to search for anything.
