'Angel' Cards

They work a little bit like tarot cards, but with guidance from angels. My mum was introduced to them a year or so ago and has sworn blind ever since that they are truthful and makes me ask questions of them every so often.

I once asked them a question about my life path and it described my past, present and (aspirational) future pretty much perfectly. It told me that my purpose on earth is to help people, which I think is very accurate. Since going through severe depression (which the cards described as 'great sadness') I have a strong drive to help people in the field of psychology. Although I am not a particularly emotional person, whenever I think of this purpose I am overwhelmed with a tide of emotion and I really do believe the cards are right.

The cards have also accurately predicted my mum's business ventures, and a close friend moving to our country.

Has anyone else had any experiences with Angel Cards?

I've used tarot cards. I've found for me it doesn't matter what I'm using.. Book or anything with a large amount of words in it. Sometimes I'll even be guided to a particular book!

Kasiette, Yes. And I was very surprised at the accuracy and amount of incite. My friend... Ms. A, gave them to me for my birthday many years ago. The very last time I used them was with her. I posed the question "who was she?" The three cards came up: Trust... Dreams... Soulmate. It is all I needed to hear; I was overwhelmed at something I think I already knew, and placed them back in the box with those three cards on top. I've not opened them since, and they sit in a sacred place... almost ten years ago.

So yes, I'm very familiar with them, they are just one more "tool" in the great scheme of creation. But, like everything, I think they can be abused. To me such oracle oriented cards, tarot and the like, take... or require a certain respect. They are not a toy for frivolous play. I believe that in the hands of a truly spiritual person they can be very profound in their "tellings."

Have a great day. AND Welcome to the forum!!!

Totoro - I haven't used regular tarot cards before. I find Angel Cards reassuring, in a way :D .

Hi Tinkerman, yes I agree that they can be over-used. After a few questions when the novelty begins to wear off, the answers no longer seem to make sense. I only ask questions I need an answer for! It's interesting how specific the cards to be.

It's not so much the novelty wearing off, but the amount of free energy that you are putting into it is.

That's why in theory, it doesn't matter what style deck or source you're using because the energy needed to communicate is coming from you.

With practice you'll find that you can get better answers quicker and have longer sessions and you'll also find that if you really push things, you can also find yourself really wore out after a session.

I don't own an angel card deck, but I have been read by other people using angel cards. It always reflects what I have been thinking or going through at the time of the reading. You can also find many online angel card sites where you can get a free angel card reading, like this one: http://www.angelmessenger.net/free-angel-card-readings/

I think angel cards are best suited if you are just asking a positive question, but if you are asking a negative question, then use the tarot.
