Being interested without being there

Bellona324

Fictional character enjoyer
I’m specifically speaking of the Yugoslav wars. I died during the 80s, way before they started. I was born years after they ended. If I wasn’t involved, why am I so interested in the Yugoslav wars? Was I working with the souls of those who departed during the wars? Another thing is that I feel some affinity with the Serbians in particular. I mentally just side with them through instinct without knowing much and I’m wondering why.

Could just be an interest in war in general. I too seem to have an interest war and fighting. I think my interest has to do with coming from a family with a long history of being in the military in this life. But then again I could of had a past life as a warrior of some sort I don't really know and honestly don't really care to know.

Well, if you're truly sure you weren't involved in any way, it could just be because the wars are interesting. Many people become interested in wars for reasons that have nothing to do with past lives.
Or, maybe, the war reminds you in some roundabout way of something you *were* involved with in a past life.

A sidenote, I get the whole "siding with the Serbians" thing too. But I'm pretty sure I was involved in WWII Serbia, so there's that.
If it wasn’t past-life related, it could be because of music. I like Roki Vulović, Miro Semberac and Baja Mali Knindža. Then I got into a rabbit hole. Serbian turbofolk is so pleasing to the ears. If it was related then I probably was Serbian in a different era.

During WWII, I was German but I loathed the Croats and Japanese for the same reason. They were just disgusting for me in terms of how they treated their victims. At least for us, my thoughts were that we were fast and didn’t waste time in killing. In fact, we tried to find faster ways. Not entirely sure of how I felt about the Serbs then but I was most likely neutral.

I have a lot of military lives so this makes sense. Even my own family now has military history. Peace and security actually feels weird for me, I’m used to some chaos here and there.

I'm the exact same way. I seem to be use to chaos myself. I'm not sure if I had any military past lives but it's a possibility but these days I try to focus more on the future than the past.
