Delay in reincarnation and suffering

What would happen to a soul who hasn't been able to reincarnate when it should?
For example: a soul decides it only wants its parents to be a certain man and a certain woman and for some reason its parents can't be together and have children so the soul doesn't reincarnate when it should have.
Would this soul suffer in the spiritual realm somehow because of this? How would this delay influence the accomplishment of its mission on Earth? If so, how (bad)?

A warm welcoome to you, Stella!

Interesting question, unfortunately I doubt there is a definitive answer, something that can be proven and is actually known.

Personally, I believe that in-between lives time is different. So that it won't matter how much time passes on earth until you reincarnate. I also believe that a soul would only suffer if they choose to suffer and put themselves into one of the "lower" realms (something like "Hell"). I doubt that a situation like you describe will ever happen, the soul would choose their parents and other conditions for the next life and they inevitably will occur, maybe the soul even chooses to reincarnate the "moment" the perfect conditions for them have been found. "Moment" in quotation marks because as I said, I believe that time is different/non-existant/meaningless in the spirit realm. But that's only my personal belief.

Souls are not bound to physical time and generally come back when either there is the need or the desire to do so with gap between lives varying greatly so for some it could be little as a few days while the next soul it could be thousands of years.

Stella,

This is my opinion on the subject... First the soul does not suffer while in-between incarnations. Unless of course the soul is earth bound and can't cross over into the light. That is another story. But in general most of us have to spend a certain amount of time in the higher dimensions before coming back anyway as the lower ego has to realize any unfulfilled dreams, hopes, desires, aspirations ect.. that where not realized in physical life.. Which is why it is called Heaven. Also we don't experience time in the same way over there as we do here. So the passage of time here in our world does not affect the soul. This is because, soul in its natural state resonates beyond linear time as we understand it as human beings.

So in a way the soul is far more alive while in between lifetimes as ones state of awareness or consciousness has unfolded many times over now that the soul has been released from the bonds of the physical world. We are in a senses more live while dead then when we are incarnate into the physical world.

Love and peace.

P.
