I remember two lives, one is documented and validated, while I have not been able to find proof of the other one and I may have the name wrong. Validations serve the purpose of 1) Convincing us that reincarnation is real 2) Provide comfort and give us new energy on the whole matter 3) Helping us understand how real past life memories feel like in comparison to dreams or imagination. That's about it. It's good to have validated memories especially for #3, to keep us grounded. However, many details of your life, perhaps the important ones, will not be able to be validated.
I didn't exactly "Discovered that my past lives existed" because it did not happen inductively: first I have memories, then I do research, then I find a match, etc. I always had very basic knowledge of my PL because I have this memory for as long as I can remember of having seen his face on Tv. However... nor the Tv or its placing correspond to anything from this life so I think it's just a past life memory that carried over. While I had very obvious and tell-telling affinities when I was a child, I didn't consider having had a past life until I was 10. Was it coincidential that it was Britain, in its connection with the orient, that opened the doors to reincarnation for me? Was I in contact with that before? Did I ever travel to China in the XIX Century? What did I exactly believe in, in the next life? Metaphysical matters do not take hiatuses, and it's frustrating to know that I COULD know but the knowledge is being gatekeeped... anyway, moving on...
It wasn't until I was a teenager that out of the blue, after reading a book on the era, I had that name that I had always known, popping up in my mind out of nowhere and I felt that I needed to know more. There wasn't that much information on the internet back then or perhaps my search was limited, I recall that one of the things that caught my attention the most is that he had lived walking distance from my house. Eventually, like many others, I had all sorts of feelings flowing after watching Der Untergang in 2005. About that time I made the connection with reincarnation again and had some dreams/memories. Then I joined CPL in 2006, started writing down my dreams, and things got "solidified". However, given that I followed a hypothetical deductive method (first hypothesis, then work to prove or disprove such hypothesis), even though I have had several validated memories, unvalidated but personally relevant memories, shared memories, tics, weird PL issues that are not relevant in this day and age, recurrent birthmarks (it's not a birthmark per se as it doesn't correlate with a specific past life event that I can remember. It's a disk/protuberance in both ears that I always realized that I had but I never knew what they were nor had seen other people with a similar trait. Then I read in a book that he mentioned having those as well and when I look at pictures they are certainly there, although back then they were bigger. I wonder if it's something from a older past life event that I can not remember), etc, as a good falsacionist, I still expect that detail that will dispr
