Didn't See That Coming...

First I wanna say hello to all after not being around for the last couple years.

And now...
A few days ago I did a guided video PL regression again. Up until then I'd always do one with intention to find out about that one particular life I seemed to have lived most recently and have the most verifiable information on. But this time I decided to let go of all expectations, not try to go anywhere in particular and just see what would come up.

I saw myself as a middle aged (late 30s - early 40s or so) man with long, light reddish brown, somewhat curly hair and a long profile with a little facial hair. I was wearing a loose, tan blouse, dressed lightly and comfortably as if I was on my own at the end of the day. It seemed to be evening in a palace hall with several books on the shelves and paintings on the walls.

I was thinking about deep subjects, about study and enlightenment and how I felt like it was my mission in life to promote these things and make people aware of them, and suppress the forces against such things.

When the voice in the guided meditation asked me what year it was, I heard in my mind and knew it to be 1647.

Then they said to recall a significant event, and I found myself outside a fortress like place - not sure if it was the same place or not - next to the sea. It was windy and there was a ship docked nearby to my left.
I felt a calm sense of resignation to what would happen next. Two men came up and took hold of me tightly by both arms and forced me to my knees. I was being arrested and about to be taken away somewhere. . . I don't remember much more than that. At the time when I was supposed to recall my death scene, it was kind of fuzzy. I don't know if I was sick and about to die, or just waiting and talking to family and people close to me before the time of my death came.

After the regression I looked up the year and found this:Screenshot_20250701-085243.pngScreenshot_20250701-085313.png
So that PL regression actually informed me about a part of history that I previously knew nothing about...

Hi Erica,

If you were who the foregoing seems (at least to me) to indicate, it might be better to forego the death scene, though it seems that he died very well indeed. I don't think one could ask for more dignity and poise at such an occasion.

Cordially,

Yeah, I know what you mean. And I'm honestly glad to have not remembered that part of it so well. I'm not sure I would have personally handled it very well at the time of that regression. Besides, I've always had a certain anxiety and sensitivity about things pertaining to my neck and head.

Hi Erica,

I can't help but return to the topic of the past life you describe. He is a very interesting character, and though I am not a royalist, his dignity and ability to be composed and explain his position to his subjects while standing next to the executioner with his axe does speak well of both him and his "blood"--royal or not. Have you done any reading since your regression related to this lifetime? I'm really curious to know what you think of him, his ideology, and the various decisions he made that led to such an ending. I.e., what are your thoughts on him and his behavior/beliefs looking back at it from your current perspective? Do you feel like you learned anything from this lifetime or since that would change your views?

Cordially,

Hi, S&S,

I mainly just glanced at it a bit right after the regression. Since it was so unexpected I wasn't sure what I should take away from it, like whether it was literally even my own past life, or maybe a vision or inherited memory.
I really should look into it further probably.
A couple things did stand out to me already though, first one being that I had a memory of a significant historical event involving Charles I, in light of the fact that we're currently experiencing a unique time in history where the current king of England is Charles III. Don't know if the one thing has to do with the other at all, but I tend to notice patterns in things and found it interesting.
So that's mainly what makes me wonder if it was a vision somehow connected with history as we're experiencing it now or something? ... Idk.. 🤷🏼‍♀️
But the other thing I noticed that suggests more that it really was a regression into my own past life is the fact that Charles I was an avid art collector, to the extent that he could even have been reckless with spending for it and is said to have even raised taxes just to afford more art pieces (something which allegedly hurt his reputation among his supporters).
What stands out to me about that is the fact that I'm an artist in this life with a great admiration for the old masters such as Titian, Da Vinci, Rembrandt, etc. - all of the artists whose works Charles I is said to have specifically admired and collected.
I value tradition - with innovation and excellence, and I practice traditional oil painting techniques and use my works to illustrate the values I believe in.

It seems he was a man of high ideals and intelligence. With firm convictions in what seemed to be a high cause, based on what I know from my initial research so far.
So I will say that the few details I have read up to this point on his life and personality did resonate with me somehow...
