What happens if you end up in a next life where you are uneducated and/or belief in reincarnation is forbidden? You would know no other way, it would kind of be a degression down possibly, you could really do evil things if you have a low level of awareness......If this scenerio happened, how would your level of consciousness be effected? it would kind of be a degression dont you think bringing you down a level? Puts a twist on things and theories, no?Deborah said:I will be back; because consciousness creates...and to me the three intelligences - thoughts, feelings and emotions - will bring me back unless I have attained the highest level of consciousness/awareness. And even then - I think I will be back because LOVE is a very powerful force. I still think of the Jedi Knight -Skywalker - when he doubted something would work or would give up and Yoda said -"That is why you fail." Somehow that thought process - at least for me - works here too.
So those of you that are saying - "NO, I am not coming back"...what about those you love in this life - who need you? Do you really have all of your karma worked out? Are you sure - that your higher power - self - source - agrees with you? Do you have no "Soul" agreements with others?
I cannot help but also reference Ian Stevenson cases - where hate - anger - and love - were the driving forces behind a child being drawn to their next life. And trauma or abuse, sudden death - or an accident being one of the main reasons - the child remembered the previous life. SO much can happen in the physical realm....and it is here - IMO - that we create so much.
Buntaro - where does LOVE fit into your theories?
In my present life -- reincarnation was never discussed, and when I brought it up it was frowned upon. However, the knowledge I carried inside of me -- the thoughts, memories and feelings of other lifetimes -- allowed me to remain steadfast in my beliefs and walk upon the path I have chosen for myself regardless of being born into a family of non-believers. : angelWhat happens if you end up in a next life where you are uneducated and/or belief in reincarnation is forbidden?
No. Law of attraction -- like energies attract. What you are thinking and feeling you yourself create. If you are always focused on the negative, then certainly that is what will manifest in both present and future lives. However -- if your focus is positive and you are creating with clarity and clear intent -- with compassion, love and understanding -- these are the things you will create for yourself.Puts a twist on things and theories, no?
Exactly. To expand on this, even if you were negative...you still could not go backwards.IMO -- once you have learned that you yourself have the ability to create positively -- You do NOT go backwards, only forwards.
I’ve had memories since childhood – of other families, places…and parents. Of course there are times when you miss specific people – but it’s more like looking back on a fond memory from your present life – if that makes sense. The real point of my post is, does anyone else feel this way? That you would hopelessly miss your family forever? That life wouldn't be as good next time around? Reincarnation seems pretty hard to deny, especially to those of you who like evidence for things.
How do you know that you wouldn’t be happy though? How do you know – you wouldn’t have a good family in a third world country – or be loved? One may have less advantages and/or opportunities in a third world country – but material things aren’t really important – it’s love that matters the most – and it’s love that brings us together again and again with certain souls.Or perhaps, I fear I would be reincarnated into a third-world country or some other less than favorable living arrangements.
You have that with reincarnation as wellAt least with the belief in heaven, you can have hope that you'll see your family in some way or another.
Not so. After someone dies, they spend some time in the spiritual realms, and have a "spiritual body". The sightings of spiritual entities while disincarnate is what is referred to as "ghosts".However, there's also anectdotal evidence at odds with reincarnation. How are personal accounts of ghosts explained when nobody really becomes a 'ghost' outside the body? It is indeed a confusing scenario to be in.
Yes, I am quite sure that those who disincarnate must miss their loved ones terribly, just as one would miss a loved one who has gone to live in another country. When we reincarnate, however, our "memories" of our past lives are hampered by what I like to call the "blessed veil of forgetfulness". With this, we have the opportunity to live a new life, without all the sadness, sorrows, regrets or even longings of our previous existences...I digress, however. Just my thoughts:Cloacina said:But if I get to paradise with my loved ones, and we can stay, I might just stay. But I like to imagine the paradise beyond death, which I hope exists, is somewhat physical, like the Earth.....only it's a perfect existance. But I like to imagine we can still make love and eat good food.....feel the water on our skin, and everything will feel like new......love....and every kiss.....and everytime we look at the world, it will be with a child's eyes in the sense that it will feel amazing just like it did when we first layed eyes on it, and won't be taken for granted.
