Few details of my "past"

It was only today that I found out that I may have remembered a past life as a small child. Apparently I would tell my mother that I did not have to listen to her or my dad because they weren't my real parents, my real parents were dead and I had watched them die. I told her I had a baby sister, whom I also watched die. I told her that something, most likely a snake, had bitten or done something to all of them that killed them and that the snake had not killed me because I was still alive. I told her that I carried my baby sister through a field after they had all died, so I do not know when I died or even if I was a boy or girl at that time, I don't know my age or anything. I'm going to try to get my parents to let me do some regression because I feel I need to know what really happened, who I really am I guess. I think that it may not have been a snake that killed them all, maybe more of something similar to a slug because I have always had an irrational phobia of slug, I would scream at the sight of them as a child I still freak out. There may have been guns involved because I have always been deathly afraid of guns, loaded and unloaded, just thinking of guns terrifies me. My baby sister was obviously important to me because since as soon as I could speak I had started asking for a baby sister, possibly asking for my baby sister, I finally got a baby sister the christmas before I turned 12. It may also have been scorpions that got my family and I as I have a paralyzing fear of them, even dead scorpions send me into panic attacks. If anyone knows anything about a family of four in a rural setting being killed by snakes or scorpions or possibly even leechs I would love to hear from you. The only clues I have are what my mother told me today, I don't know if this may be a clue or not but when I was born the doctors diagnosed me with a case of big head. This is very very important to me and I'm going to work as hard as I can to figure this out

I can't give you an answer or information about the vision itself. But as a child I had many dreams, one of which I have recently remembered. From my research I know that sometimes fears of things can symbolize something that may have ended or severely affected a past life. But not necessarily all of these things may mean that. I find that usually my gut instinct about what each thing may symbolise is most fitting and likely.


You can do some research on well documented deaths as well as this may prove informative, but as only a few deaths are, it might be difficult to find anything useful.


I'm no expert but a bit of advice from me, yes research it, but don't let it consume you

Hi Forgottenmemory, and welcome to the Forum!


I can only imagine what an effect your mother's recent disclosure has had on you and how the excitement of many possibilities has filled your mind to the point of feeling as if your head would explode unless you find some answers to your many questions. Although it is true that many phobias may reflect deep-seated past-life memories and traumas, many of the fears you mentioned are shared by the majority of people for reasons that have more to due with a lack of experience than with past life traumatic experience.


While your interest is new and enthusiastic, I hope you won't mind me expressing the opinion that you should start off by reading Carol Bowman's books, "Childrens Past Lives", and "Return From Heaven". These will give you a much better foundation for your interest, and will be a wonderful stepping off point to other books, if your interest in Reincarnation continues. Please also explore the many threads of this Forum to find more possible answers to your questions. I think you will also more likely find more questions that you haven't thought of yet; for the implications of Reincarnation are much more far-reaching than we can possibly imagine.

The only reason I believed that this might be true is because of a book I have been reading for a research project, the title is Children Who Have Lived Before: Reincarnation Today. I tried research and I don't think I'll be able to find any true answers, I'm hoping that something may come back to me about those memories.

"Forgottenmemory" Welcome to the PLF and to a membership of like minded individuals (like yourself) who are very understanding about Past Lives and Reincarnation.


Just out of curiosity, could the snake/scorpion/slug be a metaphor or representation of something else, say perhaps, related to something in your Past Life?


Also having been in a medically related field before I retired, a "Big Head" is often known by a condition called Hydrocephalus, quite often known as "Water on the Brain" a problem that is relieved by a draining shunt to relieve the pressure and can lead to damage if not treated in a timely manner.


The book "Children Who Have Lived Before: Reincarnation Today" is an excellent book, having read it when it first came out, and I found it to be a very informative book to read.
