Hello-
One day my oldest daughter (who was 2) and I were talking about how wonderful it was that I had the privledge of carrying her around for 9months and how great it was. She smiled back at me looked almost thru me and said "I remember being in your uterus, it was warm and I could hear your voice, I liked it there except that I was squished and my (she now is making gasping sounds and was bringing her hand to her neck making the noises over and over ) my neck really hurt.
I was so floored. She was a large baby and after 30 hours of labor I had a emergency c-section. She was blue when she came out and the cord was wrapped tightly around her neck.
It was only her and I since she was a baby, I never told anyone about the cord, she had no way of knowing. She hated clothes to close to her neck and still never wears turtlenecks. I believe she could rember being there.
Some time after that I came across Carol's book at a book store and read it in about 3 days.
