Healing past life phobias, fears, obsessions and traumas

Bob

New Member
In the last few days quite a few people have asked about how they can recognize, understand and heal past life phobias, fears, obsessions, attachments and traumas. So, I would like to share some of what I have learned in healing my own past life traumas and helping many clients to do the same. For the purpose of brevity, I will primarily use the word "fear" in this article, but you may substitute any of the other words (phobia, obsession, attachment, trauma) because I have found that certain principle of healing work in virtually all situations.

#1- You can do it!
It is possible to heal any of the issues that people have presented here. So, the first step on this journey of healing is to believe that it is possible to be free of your phobia, fear, obsession, attachment or trauma. I have been part of dozens of past life healings on a very wide array of issues, so I speak from experience, not from wishful thinking.

#2- Your fear has not been with you forever.
Generally when someone first confronts a fear with unknown origin they feel confused or hopeless. Sometimes there is the feeling "I've had this problem forever." One of the keys to healing a past life fear is remembering that you are an eternal soul. Therefore, you are older than your fear, and there was a time when you didn't have this fear.

#3 You are bigger than your fear.
Just as you may feel that this fear has been wiht you forever, you probably also feel overwhelmed by the size of this issue. Fears have a way of making us feel small. But the truth of the matter is that our souls are infinite and are connected with the source of the universe. The energy that created the universe (whatever you may chose to call this energy) is within each and everyone of us. Once we begin to remember this, then we begin to re-discover our capacity for facing any fear.

#4 You can use your awareness to discover the origin of any fear and to see it for what it truly is (instead of for what you imagine it to be).
Awareness is a soul quality, and has no limitations. So no matter how big and old your fear may appear, your awareness is both older and vaster. It is well known that the first step in healing just about any issue and solving just about problem is to fully recognize the issue.
The key word in that last sentence is "fully". Many people start to recognize a fear, but don't use their awareness to fully get to know their fear. It can take a lot of time and perseverance to get to know a fear fully and to get to its origins, but once you reach that point, healing accelerates.

#5- You don't have to face your fears alone.
I have found that guidance, love, support and healing are always available to us. Whenever we feel most overwhelmed and confused is when we need to call on our higher self, spirit guides, masters, God/Goddess. It doesn't really make much difference who we call on. The key is to call on help with an open and receptive heart, remembering that we are never alone. Sometimes, we have to dive deep within to find our strongest place of trust and faith in this guidance. But once we know that place, we will be able to call on it in any time of need.

#6- Ultimately all fears dissolve when embraced by a truly compassionate heart.
I have learned over and over again that a compassionate heart is the ultimate healer. Time and time again I have been faced with ancient and seemingly intractable fears. Yet, every time I radiate love from my own heart of compassion, I find that the fear responds and the healing process progresses.

So, ultimately I believe that the key to healing any past life fear is self-love. No matter who you are and what you are afraid of or obsessed with, you are deserving of love. Once you can approach the part of you that is so fearful you have begun your healing journey. As you progress in your healing, you will recognize the fearful part of you, acknowledge the fearful part of you, become more aware of the fearful part of you and its needs, embrace the fearful part of you, and love the fearful part of you. By the time you have embraced and loved the fearful part of you, you will have learned a great deal about yourself and re-discovered much of your inner beauty, power and wisdom.

Blessings on your journey,

Bob

hi i'm the boyfriend of shewolf and am using her
username. My problem is that i have experienced pain in my
body now for more then 13 years now.It started with pain
in my legs but increasingly started to feel it in the rest of
of my body.I went from hospital to hospital but they couldn"t findanything wrong.during that time i also started to have strange
experiences, esspecially dreams about ufo's and pastlives
I had always a strong urge to become a pilot and then i had
adream were i experienced myself sitting in a plain in the
second world war and i crashed. When i was on the ground
i started to cry and then i heard a voice in the background
sayiying, let it go let it go.Then i stopped with crying and the
dream ended.Since then i hadn't any urge anymore to become
a pilot. This is just one example from those dreams.
During the beginning period of the pain i awakened one time
in the morning and i heared a voice saying to me
te pain that you are feeling is caused by problems from
pastlives. That voice i heared when i was wide awake.
During that time i had some more paranormal experiences
mainly about ufo's.
About 8 years ago i also started to have an obsessive
controlling neurosis and i felt i have to control my surroundings
so my problems increased.I had also during my whole life
an fear of being killed and violence.
Since i know my girlfriend things are becoming more clear for me
it seems that i share pastlives with her and she is also involved
in some traumatic one's that i had.I know that because
of visions that i had and it seems now that my girlfriend
had the same visions. So i think it's not a coincedence that
we met eachother becuase of our shared pastlive history
tings resurfase more quickly and therefore the healing
goes more quickly so it seems that is one reason for our meeting again.I'm planning to do rebirthing now because i'm feeling
that i become closer and closer to the cause of the pain
And to heal the pain i also have to fully experince and
feel the pain in order to release it.So indeed self love is
te key because feeling and experiencing the pain is accepting it
and when youy accept it you accept a painful, part of
yourself and selfacceptance is selflove.

greetings e.k

Bob, I am in a bad mood today, so I will ask a question I have been meaning to ask you for a long time: Why do most of your posts have to sound like personal adds for your "services"? Do you make money out of what you do? Just curious...

Charles

Charles,

Heheheeh! Oh my goodness....now that I think about it, his posts do kinda sound like self help ads to me. I thought maybe I was just having that reaction because I can be kinda arrogant and pigheaded at times.

Bob,
Are you a licensed therapist?

This might be the reason why Bob's stuff sounds so business ad like. When one gets used to having to write their own ad copy, especially here in the US where everyone has to be careful of how they say things.....one might get into a rut. I know I had to really watch myself on some of the WWI posting boards since I might refer to myself as I instead as a third person. (You know the whole Red Baron thing...)

Rittmeister

Dear Friends,

Sometimes I write those kinds of posts because I have experience dealing with many of the issues and traumas that people often write about here. It hurts me to see people going through pain and not realizing that their pains can be relieved.

The reincarnation forum has a policy which does not allow for the discussion of money for services, so I can not answer your question directly. However, all the answers you need are on my website.

I will say that I have NEVER refused my services to anyone for financial reasons.

If you want to know more, visit my website or write me a private email. I'll be happy to answer any of your questions.

Blessings,

bob

Actually, I liked Bob's post if only as a starting point for someone interested in healing (as I once was).

The most difficult aspect for me always seemed to be locating the source of whatever I was attempting to dissolve. Worse yet, getting some symbolic type of vision and then sitting there saying to myself - what's that supposed to mean?

If Bob has a way to nail that aspect down - actually locating the source - I'd sure like to hear how he goes about it. To this day, I always consider that a hit or miss kind of thing.

Hi all,

Well, I decided not to post any further last night seeing as I hadn't had a very good day. I am glad that I hold the knowledge that there is nothing better than one day after another and that a good night's sleep can cure most ailments.
Just wanted to state that personally I have nothing against BobK's line of work, nor that he might perhaps charge for what he dedicates time to doing, and from what I have seen, Bob, you seem honest and sincere in your approach, which is really saying something as we know of so many who are not, and who just exploit other people's suffering and desire for help at enlightenment. I just personally feel that sometimes your posts sound too much like advertisements. You possess great knowledge. I think I have learned a fair ammount too. I am hoping to publish my book but, to me personally, I feel that the issue of reincarnation is so wonderfully and fantastically important that my prime objective is to share what I have learned so that more people may come to know of this reality, which can be life changing and indeed world changing. Hence my question to you and also regarding Carol's not participating here at least occasionally.
No offense intended.

Light,

Charles

Bob is just an unique character. Can't everybody see this? He is so very correct and polite dealing with these universal matters, I imagine him working out peace and healing with some shamans and angels always in correct dress and total business routine. It is his calmness that is so funny.

As I got you two together, Charles and Bob, I'd like to remark that I feel like suffering not of a fear from a past live, but a sadness. What about that? Maybe I was terrible in love? You got to know that like magicaly I was atracted to this area of spain, moved there and found a church that I seemed to know. I had to cry. Now I have been in an esoteric library and next day I get the call of a woman (that was told of me by the librarian) she wants to see me. She is not so young anymore she said.

What am I going to do? Do I want this? Why do we want to go back sometimes?

Greetings
Justin

Dear Mousie,

You asked a good question, how I go about locating the source of someone's issue. Actually there are many, many ways to do so. I don't really have a simple technique I can share with you, because it happens in so many ways for me.

But I can share some principles:

When I give a session, my intention is always to connect my client's soul. It is my client's soul which guides us to the source of their condition. This process of following the soul's guidance is an intuitive one. I experience it as being very quiet and listening, because the soul's guidance comes to me in so many incredible ways.

Sometimes we are guided to a particular time or a particular experince, like a past life trauma or childhood trauma. Sometimes we are guided to a place in their body. Sometimes we are guided to a belief they are holding. Sometimes a particular spirit guide comes forward with important wisdom. sometimes it becomes clear my client needs to do some sort of emotional release, physical movement, or prayer. There are many, many other possibilities.

It's important to realize that everything in this created universe is made up of energy. Not only are our physical bodies made up of energy, so are our thoughts and emotions. By learning how to perceive subtle energies (this is what I went to healing school for years to learn), we can learn how to locate the source of just about anything.

Blessings,

Bob

??

Hi Bob, why don't you comment on my story? You would be the one I would await the most insight from.

Just this question: have you ever heard of people trying to find their past life because they intended to go back for whatever reason? Love or maybe a task...

greetings,
Justin

Ok, Justin, let me see if I understand what you're getting at. I also cannot express the sadness I feel any time I recall anything related to my life as Charles Stuart. For some years after I received evidence that I was once him, and in particular after I purchased a book about his history (which was so familiar from beginning to end), I felt this almost insane urge to return to the places mentioned in the book, in particular to the field of Culloden where the Battle of Culloden was held. Why? I don't know... It was probably the saddest moment in my lifetime then, so why this terrible urge to return to that place? I guess the urge is not so much in the place, but in a search for something that could heal the pain. The past cannot be fixed, however, except in the present and in the future. I believe this is perhaps the main reason why we are not usually meant to remember past lives, with all their griefs, losses, mistakes, resentments and suffering. In each life we are given the opportunity to start afresh, so why keep tied to something that cannot be changed anymore? Look forward, look ahead, trust that, by focussing on the "now", we can, indeed, create happiness for ourselves...

Love and Light,

Charles

Thanks Charles,

Right, I didn't make clear what I am getting at. I could imagine carrying past life traumas, but I have no nostalghia and no problem to start afresh and head for the future. I ask myself in general, why sometimes we remember past lifes. (And how we bear it up.) I am about to conclude, that there are several reasons that sometimes can sound quite profane. I read about people remembering getting killed in the gas chmabers of german concentration camps. They wanted to come back "to tell the world what has happened".
I personaly don't WANT to go back, but it seems that I planned to go back before. Can you imagen that to be possible?
Can you imagen to love somebody so much, that you try to come back in the physical world? Isn't that perverse?
Can you imagine occult families trying to work out techniques to get reincarnated in their clan for generations?
I would welcome to know, that I can start afresh, but what if I am needed somewhere... maybe just because of some knowledge?

thanks,
Justin

Justin,

As far as I know, we can choose to reincarnate for different reasons and different objectives. The main one, however, is always in order to progress by learning from experience. Such choices, however, are subject to approval (by the spiritual guides and masters and, I believe, ultimately by God Himself).
I do believe that some souls, however, perhaps due to lack of enlightenment, get so lost and confused that they have little say in the matter and are reincarnated almost magnetically into a circle that is appropriate for their process of development.
I know what you mean by not wanting to come back (you said "go" back, could you clarify?), and I also believe that sometimes it is not a question of choice, but something that is imposed upon many as this is the only way by which a "stuck" soul can progress spiritually and evolve into a stage of further enlightenment, awareness and knowledge. I believe the majority of us would rather NOT return to this world of suffering if we had any other alternative, but not reincarnating apparently implies in lack of progress, and no soul can ever wish to be stagnant forever.
I do hope I am getting closer to what you are wishing to know.

Charles

Dear Bob:

Thanks for the input. I never took formal "lessons" but I appear to have a natural gift along these lines.

I'll consider what you told me and see if I can get it to narrow the search field for some things I've been toying around with for some time. It's just that most of my information comes across as symbols and then the game becomes identifying what they mean in relation to the subject at hand.

But you've given me a few new avenues to consider.

A lot of thanks really, charles, I am unsure how I appear (with my bad english) but I feel better now.
I had a quite new impression of incarnation I couldn't imagine before. It lies in the "going back" not as getting reincarnated, but as looking for someones past life AND get in contact with the friends from then to continue some relationship, work or lesson.
This might be not so unusual when beeing a child (like it is often documented by Stevenson) but quite irritating when you run into this with 35.

take care,
Justin

Justin,

I don't understand what you are wanting me to comment on. Please explain clearly.

Mousie,

I believe that everyone has these gifts, but we all choose to develop different gifts.

Yes, much information comes symbolically. In my experience, the way to better understand symbols is through lots of practice.

One suggestion I will make is don't try to figure out the meaning of the symbols intellectually. If you aren't sure of what you are perceiving, then ask for clarification and further guidance. And keep asking (and keep remaining open and receptive) until you have greater clarity.

And Charles description about how and why some people choose to reincarnate is very close to what I have come to understand. We always have freedom of choice, so I believe that if a soul strongly wants to reincarnate into a certain situation it will usually happen - even if that soul's spirit guides disagree with the choice.

Blessings,

Bob

LOL I just had to say, a friend of mine just sent me, as of yesterday, an email to check out your site, but I didnt realize that the Bob on this forum was the same one as the one she sent me the email on, till I read your website and recognized it as the one she told me to check out! But then, it makes sense, because another friend from the same list is the one who recommended this forum to me. Just had to point it out!

Hello Bob,

I like the way you write - you come across as very even-keeled and wise. It sounds like you have helped a lot of people. Even your words seem to emanate a healing quality!

Thanks for your reply to my Hypnosis Experience (on another topic thread). I agree with you, I think that in a sense "everything has happened already" or is happening in another dimension. I believe we script much of our life before we are born here. We are forced to deal with linear time here on earth but it is an illusion & just part of the 'script'.

I am particularly interested in what you've written about sending healing energy/love toward fears to heal them. In the past year or so I've gotten into the habit of trying to send "white light" (metaphor for healing energy/love) to people before I go to sleep. It is my new way of 'praying'. First I meditate and try to determine intuitively who in my life currently needs this healing energy the most, then I focus all my love and good intentions into a healing white light which I send to these people. I try to really focus and picture them being physically surrounded by this light and being uplifted and healed physically and /or emotionally as needed...

I have numerous stories where a week or so after I'd sent a particular person white light, I would hear, often inadvertently, that they were doing much better! I know that this could very well be coincidence, but it seems there have been a LOT of coincidences!

I am a firm believer that "thoughts are things", which have as much power and effect as any action in the physical world.

Dena

Hi Gina,

Isn't it sweet when these serendipities happen!

Hi Dena,

Did you know that conincidences are God's way of remaining anonymous? So, we could add that coincidences are also your way of doing your healing work anonymously.

Your description of radiatory, long-distance healing is wonderful. About the only thing I can add is to keep doing it and to accept that you are helping others. What I like to remember is that all healing comes from within. So, when we send healing energy to another, what we are actually doing is helping them to access their own healing power (and helping ourselves to access our own healing power). So, we're really not giving anything away, we're all gaining. This is why I love being a healer - I receive as much as I give.

Blessings,

Bob
