Hi... could anyone please enlighten me?

Hi,

I am new here. Just found this website a couple hours ago.

In short, past life has been an interesting topic for me for the last couple of months. There are so many times in my life, I end up 'complaining' using a simple expression like "OMG, what have I done in my past life" (, especially after great difficulties/problems.

I read several books about this topic and tried to get some access inside my mind (before I went to sleep), but most of the time I continued with very very deep sleep...

Only once I got vision about being standing in front of the hill with dark clouds gathering. It was like a big storm coming. I felt I was just standing there. This vision lasted only few seconds and no more since then (whatever I tried). Yes, I have unusual feeling whenever I see dark clouds hanging in the sky before big rain. Mixture between fear and excitement. I love to smell the first rain hit hot soil (but I guess many people love the smell too.. right? )

Could anyone please enlighten me what's the meaning of this, and what I should do to progress further, or is it a fragment of my past life or just a fantasy in my mind?

Hello asantoso, welcome to the forum, I'm glad you found us.


Well, my initial reaction to you is that everything we see and do, everything we learn, is a step in a magnificent journey. We are souls on a magnificent ride through lives. Ultimately our purpose, IMO (in my opinion), is to mature our souls, to a point of being, that we are one with the Great Spirit/God/Creator.


Taking your dream and what you said: "There are so many times in my life, I end up 'complaining' using a simple expression like "OMG, what have I done in my past life" , especially after great difficulties/problems." into consideration...I would make the observation that you are at the point in your soul's journey where you are awakening to a new time. I think we all reach these milestones where we awaken to new realities and possibilities. My suggestion to you is to continue to search in mindful discernment. Look for the little, as well as the large markers in your life. I have found that meditation in the Buddhist tradition, mixed with my Christianity have provided wonderful insight.


So to answer your question "is it a fragment of a past life or a fantasy?" Yes to both, as only you can ultimately know this. Past life memories surface to teach, in my opinion. They are not recreational...they are very real. But our human condition and the social stimulation around us make the "fantasy" option plausible too. Our journeys are solitary... each of us in the quiet of our own minds must reach the ultimate answers. In your case, I see you are beginning... Go forward with it in a serious and careful mindset. Don't try to control or direct it...it will reveal itself in surprising ways. In the mean time read, study and try the different techniques that allow you to explore your soul. AND by all means write it all down in a journal. you'll find this very beneficial.


Again i'm glad you're here, I hope the above makes sense to you. I wish you well on this wild and wonderful storm of a journey you are entering.

Hi Asantoso, and welcome to the Forum. Although I can't offer an interpretation of your vision, I can suggest trying to meditate some time in the morning, when you are well rested (if that's possible). If you are able to go to sleep early and wake up before you need to get up, that could be a good time to meditate and attempt to open your subconscious. However, remember to re-set your alarm clock just in case you go to sleep again.

Hello Asantoso, and welcome to the forum. I've had a very similar memory to what you described, only it was after a storm hit and not before. I live in tornado country so I've seen plenty of storms but this one I always knew was from another lifetime from the way I was dressed and the other people who were with me were dressed. It was one whopper of a storm to have made it clear into another life.


I don't know where you live (or lived) but where I lived then, tornado shelters didn't exist. We kept a good watch on the sky because if violent weather was coming it was best to find natural shelter, in this case most everyone headed for some rock structures to wait it out in. I remember trying to help some people to get there in the wind and remember being somewhat shell shocked when it was over and looking at the clouds and talking about them with a few other people.

Yeap, I will continue searching until I find the answers, like all of you have said. I also remember an advertisement by battery called energizer.. "never give up.. dude"... :laugh::laugh:


Btw, I live in asia. Weather here is nice with only summer and rainy seasons. Only in a very few occasions we have big wind (similar to storm in lesser magnitude), but I have not experienced any big storm myself (at least in this lifetime). Just watched several times in Discovery channel.. .. Perhaps, that big storm in my past life killed me, so that I did not see the aftermath? Perhaps, but like what Tinkerman said, I could hardly learn any from this vision.


Let me continue my journey. I even pray to God deep in my heart, asking for any Divine Intervention to open the door of my past life a bit so that I can just have a peek...:angel:..... but.... not yet answered...:freak::freak:..:laugh:.. Perhaps He is busy with billions prays from people living in poverty. Well, I can understand that.


I will surely update for anything which I can get.
