Son's memories

I just wanted to share my story and just communicate it with some people who do not judge nor mock. We live in the bible belt and while i no longer claim the christian religion most here do. My son also does follow the christian faith and most do not believe in reincarnation or anything. So even my son at 5 has become shy about telling his stories with anyone else and also with age his memories are i am sure diminishing. But i wanted to share just the same. I would say his first story to me was about 2 years ago. He started asking me about how an ambulance takes an injured person to the hospital. He said that when the fire truck comes they cut you out and the ambulance takes you to the hospital. he said like when dhe died. I asked him how he died. he said he bled to death. I asked him what happened and went into this long drawn out story about how he was driving this truck and he stopped to look at one that had flames on it and looked a lot faster. he said he was looking at it and the cops pulled up, for whatever reason he jumped in his truck and drove away. the cops chased him and eventually he pulled off and jumped out. he began running on foot and the cop shot him. i asked him where and he said the first one was in the leg and the second was int eh back. they took him to the hospital and he died. he once told me about another story in small amounts, not enough to equal a whole story or to even understand it fully. he mentioned dying once before but in another scenario. Even before these incidences, i had thought my son had many lives before now. Most people when they meet my son say that he is so smart and not all book sense, he is common sense smart. he just gets it, one friend told me. Recently, 7 mths ago, my fiance passed away, it was in a violent way and not something you necessarily want the child to know but he did because he was witness to us being told. he excepts death and life like most adults i know can not understand. When people asked him how it happen he did not want to say the truth, we said well say it was an accident or whatever. he said i'll tell them i forgot and i said you don't have to do that, he looked me in my eyes at 4 yrs old and said i'll say i forgot but i'll never forget mama. when a bird goes by he says rick is checking on hima dn when he finds feathers, he says rick has left him a note. he gets it was the best description of my child i ever heard. when he died, i took him to counciling because he never cried or anything. No emotion at all. the counselor eventually asked us if we really felt we needed to keep coming because she saw a kid who was perfectly happy and intelligent. she said she forgets she is talking to a kid and sometimes she goes to get onto for something, forgetting he is 5 and this is normal behavior. i just wanted to share this with someone because very few wanna hear ity or they think you are crazy. but i believe that while other kids cry over lost dogs or dead fish mine says oh well that is life. i think for a five year old his understanding of life is speacial.

birthmarks

I also wanted to add this just to get feedback. I didnt really think anything about it until not too long ago. My father whom i was never close with had a birthmark right at the base of his hairline at the back of the neck. My birthmark is int he same place as well as my now 5 yr old sons. I just thought this was pretty neat until recently when reading about past lives and the marks left behind by them. Is it possible for these marks to carry through from my father to me to my son. Is it possible he is my father, i could go into other things which have made me think that over time or is it possible at some point we all died the same. I just thought it idd for 3 generations of people to have the same mark int he same place. not on the same level or anything but it also seems that all features my son acquired from me are the ones i acquired from my father.

Hi diandra,

Welcome! :) Thank you so much for sharing your son's story with us. He does indeed sound like a very well-adjusted, happy child. :)

Have you read either of Carol's books yet? They're both wonderful -- but considering your experiences with your son, I'd recommend reading "Children's Past Lives".

You can read chapter one online [thread=9831]here[/thread]

I think its great that you are open to what your son is saying. He needs at least one person that he can talk to that believes him. It all sounds past life related to me and also sounds like your son may have some psychic abilities as well. There is a good website for that that you can post questions on. It is called psykids.com It is related to the ChildSpirit Institute, which is another wonderful organization not oo far from you in North Carolina.
Birthmarks can be indicators of past life physical trauma but I would wonder if it is not just something genetic. Also, in your son's case, he said he was shot in the leg and back but didn't mention an injury to the head.

no i thought too it odd that his first shot was int he leg. you know cops will try and stop the person before they try to killa nd the second shot was the fatal one. well he said he bled to death at the hospital. He has given me another encounter at a different date about how he died there. but there was no head injury there either. this child is an old soul i can say that and there is no telling how many deaths he has died. Sounds odd to say your child is wiser and older than you are. but i know that his soul is older than mine. i learn from him as much as he learns from me. He is very well adjusted. nothing bothers him as far as change. he accepts life and death very well. he has never cried over a dea animal or friend for that matter. Rick was like a father to him and he never cried or anything. he is very wise for his age. his second story of death was also violent. i cannot remember now the version fo this death, we were riding in the car and i did not have anything to write it down with. so of course now i do not remember. I also thought that as they age some may lose their memories of past lives. i wish i knew of a way to help them remember. i wish i could do regression myself. i remember nothing and here he can go on and on and i am the one with the passion for this.

Hi Diandra

Sounds like a pretty unique son you have there. You might try drawing him out about past lives. If not his then maybe yours. See where it goes.

Jack

I am very intested in drawing out both of our past lives. Unfortunately this is a new area for me and i have not read enough yet to know how to regress. i wouldn't even know where to begin on getting him talking. I did read once that the moments right before falling asleep are very prominent times to discuss things witht hem and to listen in their sleep and ask questions if possible but my son has to have sleep aides to sleep as he would stay awake almost 24 hours if he didnt have it so this time is not good for him as he is dead to the world. as for myself i know i have a better chance of regression if i knew where to begin. i want to find my past lives to see if any of the things i think are a part of it, truly are. I need to read more. any suggestions on books or other sources where i can find how to regress myself. and yes i agree he is very unique. i think that is why we relate so well we are both very eccentric.

Hi diondra,
I just wanted to mention that I have heard of a lot of kids with these memories having sleep problems. My six year old son is included in this.
Vicky

you bring up a great point i never even thought to put the 2 together. I guess it is also possible that his sleeping problems are directly related as well..
