I just wanted to share my story and just communicate it with some people who do not judge nor mock. We live in the bible belt and while i no longer claim the christian religion most here do. My son also does follow the christian faith and most do not believe in reincarnation or anything. So even my son at 5 has become shy about telling his stories with anyone else and also with age his memories are i am sure diminishing. But i wanted to share just the same. I would say his first story to me was about 2 years ago. He started asking me about how an ambulance takes an injured person to the hospital. He said that when the fire truck comes they cut you out and the ambulance takes you to the hospital. he said like when dhe died. I asked him how he died. he said he bled to death. I asked him what happened and went into this long drawn out story about how he was driving this truck and he stopped to look at one that had flames on it and looked a lot faster. he said he was looking at it and the cops pulled up, for whatever reason he jumped in his truck and drove away. the cops chased him and eventually he pulled off and jumped out. he began running on foot and the cop shot him. i asked him where and he said the first one was in the leg and the second was int eh back. they took him to the hospital and he died. he once told me about another story in small amounts, not enough to equal a whole story or to even understand it fully. he mentioned dying once before but in another scenario. Even before these incidences, i had thought my son had many lives before now. Most people when they meet my son say that he is so smart and not all book sense, he is common sense smart. he just gets it, one friend told me. Recently, 7 mths ago, my fiance passed away, it was in a violent way and not something you necessarily want the child to know but he did because he was witness to us being told. he excepts death and life like most adults i know can not understand. When people asked him how it happen he did not want to say the truth, we said well say it was an accident or whatever. he said i'll tell them i forgot and i said you don't have to do that, he looked me in my eyes at 4 yrs old and said i'll say i forgot but i'll never forget mama. when a bird goes by he says rick is checking on hima dn when he finds feathers, he says rick has left him a note. he gets it was the best description of my child i ever heard. when he died, i took him to counciling because he never cried or anything. No emotion at all. the counselor eventually asked us if we really felt we needed to keep coming because she saw a kid who was perfectly happy and intelligent. she said she forgets she is talking to a kid and sometimes she goes to get onto for something, forgetting he is 5 and this is normal behavior. i just wanted to share this with someone because very few wanna hear ity or they think you are crazy. but i believe that while other kids cry over lost dogs or dead fish mine says oh well that is life. i think for a five year old his understanding of life is speacial.
