Hi QS
I always suggest that while it's all very interesting to try to pinpoint the historical details of memories, it might be worth trying some meditation to find out more about it first and what it means to you in your life now? Or, if you find the memory disturbing, you might prefer just to leave it alone for now and put it in the 'oh, that's interesting' box for the time being.
Past life memories can sometimes be very useful for providing insight into our own selves, our fears, the things that make us happy, or push our buttons, for reasons that are otherwise mysterious. But, they are often made up of little flashes and impressions and we don't always know how it all fits together - like broken pieces of pottery on an archeological dig.
It's always a good idea to start a journal and write down all the things you can remember, how you feel about it all, little details and big thoughts. Sometimes just writing it out slowly by hand will get the mind going and more things will come to the surface. Sometimes, many years later something else will come up and provide more information on what it was all about and having your journal can be very handy to refer to.
