What about people recognizing you from PL ?

Most of our stories are about us recognizing people from a past. Do you also have stories about people who come to you saying they know you from a past life and you don’t have clue (and no memory)?

It happened to me on a few occasions. Like a befriended woman who told me once (we were both drunk): I know you. From our first meeting, I felt that I already knew you. I know it is not possible. Maybe a former life but I am not into former lives.

And there are two men who consider themselves being my brother. Sometimes people say things like that just to be friendly but these two are different. They proved it. They both announced it publicly. And their families agreed too.
One of them is a descendant from India. He made me do the bonding ritual between sisters and brothers, that was important to him. His actual sister calls me sister too. His mother and even his grandmother agreed. He was dead serious about our bond. At a certain moment he was prepared to go to prison for me (wanted to kill people who had done wrong to me but I refused to give names). There was absolutely no romance involved. I did feel the bond too but no memory at all about past lives. We don’t have contact at the moment. He was/is a small criminal and not prepared to change.

My other brother in spirit is someone who actually did change his life from bad to better. He had already changed before we met. He is absolutely convinced I’m his sister. When he went into (local) politics he made a biography in which he stated he was husband, father, brother.... He is only child
His wife calls me her sister-in-law.
But no memories about past lives. I have no clue.

My mom has called me by my first name from one of my PL’s. The way she said it made it seem like it just sort of subconsciously slipped out instead of my current name. I’m female and it’s a male’s name, and not one that we know anyone with either, so I do find that interesting.

People that I know in everyday life and that I have't met online before, no, it hasn't happened yet.
People in reincarnation forums, yes, too many. Most had a WWII connection so it made sense. There were also a couple of people that remember me from lives I don't remember but I think they are probably correct in their assumptions and some others who also remember me from lives I don't remember but their claims sound more far fetched. My spiritual self is very popular online haha.

As I understand it we are a total sum of everything we have ever experienced within our past lives up to this point. However in general we don't remember our past lives because the past life memory is stored within the causal body. (please refer to my past post on the causal body.) So in each lifetime lived we receive a new mental, astral and physical body each time we reincarnate into the lower worlds of duality which has no direct memory of these other lifetimes.

Nature is kind in this regard because to have full memory of all our lives and conscious of them within the physical brain could cause us to go mad and even have a nerves breakdown. As there are many things that would be very painful and harmful to have memory of within the present personality which would be counter productive in our souls evolution. Which is why only small parts of our past lives filter thru into the conscious mind within the physical body if the soul is ready to handle such information. As the soul becomes more evolved it will remember more and more of these memories while still alive in the flesh. But at humanities present stage of evolution many still do not have memory of them yet. Which is why this creates the illusion that this is the only life we have and once we die that's it.

So for now this is why only within the soul/causal body are they stored as the soul itself is eternal and not subject by time, space and matter. However those subtle traits, abilities, likes, dislikes, temperaments, mind sets ect… do filter thru into the present personality that is being expressed and experienced if within the present life as something triggers those abilities to surface and manifest themselves. In fact some of these traits do surface early on as part of the souls plan to have some but not all of these traits filter thru to aid the soul in its present life to fulfill what ever lessons it needs to learn and complete this time around.

When we die and have our life review only then does the soul see and understand from a larger perspective why things happened or did not happened in the life just lived. Kind of that aha!! moment. However this can also happened if one is practicing mediation or contemplation as part of their spiritual exercises in going inward for reflection and understanding to the souls life's purpose.

It seems better to start 'fresh' every time again. New round.

By the way cute profile name Yes you are correct in that regard which is why we have a chance to start over with a clean slate in a manner of speaking. We may not have memory of what took place back then but the karma still follows us going forward. The law of physics in action. For every action there is an opposite and equal reaction as it unfolds slowly in the new incarnation.

I have been told by some psychics and have in fact experience this myself in the few OBE's I have had over the years that when we meet these other souls on the astral plane there is generally no bad feelings between the two if things did now work out. As both parties are seeing the incarnation on the physical from a higher level of awareness. However if the other soul is not evolved enough to have that kind of understanding they will reside on a sub-plane within the astral dimension where the other person will have no contact with them at all until the next physical incarnation when ever that will be.

Here in the physical we are just for a lack of a better word, all dumped together here with everyone in different various stages of soul evolution there by having to learn to get along and work things out like it or not. Which is why the physical can be so challenging. However the law of physics on the astral, and mental dimensions are far different. When we cross over we naturally gravitate to a sub-plane within the astral plane that we resonate from within the center of our being. This forms a grouping of sorts of like mind individuals. Which is in a way kind of like a heaven to some. As we are now surrounded by individuals near or close to the same stage of soul evolution as us. Which is why there are so many different sub divisions within the astral world alone.

Example: When my mom passed two years ago I had a brief meeting with her on the middle astral plane during a ludic dream which in turn, turned out to be a conscious OBE. She died at 86 and died in her sleep. (we should all be so lucky!) but appeared to me to be in her late 20's early 30's . She told me being dead was great! and that she met her father and best friend which she was very closed to in life there but still has not met her mother. This did not surprise me because her mother and her never got along at all in that life. Plus my grandmother was an acholic in that lifetime. As my grandmother died when I was 16 years old. When she was sober I had some good memories of her but when drinking it was god awful. I'm sure being an acholic made her transition after death a hard and difficult one at first as she had to work some issues out on the lower astral before she could transcend into the middle astral as some point. Since now that she did not have a body anymore she still had the desires for alcohol but no longer has a physical body anymore to get her fix. This condition is for a alcoholic a living nightmare of sorts. Causing them to be earth bound for a while until they can release the desire for the high of the alcohol. This also true for drug users as well.

Anyway since then who know were my grandmother is by now. But what ever karma my mom had with her mother is finished for now anyway. Whether they meet again in the next life I can't say as both have free will to decide that on the causal/soul plane level before incarnating again. And so the beat goes on.....
